Vidago
Vidago is a town and a civil parish in the municipality of Chaves, located 12 kilometers south of Chaves in the district of Vila Real, Portugal. It is famous for its mineral waters and the Vidago Palace Hotel, once a favorite of the last Portuguese kings. The setting is pleasant among large trees and many families seek out its shady gardens for picnics. The area of the parish is 6.40 km² and the population is 1,186 inhabitants (2001).
