Estádio do Varzim Sport Club
Estádio do Varzim Sport Club is a multi-use stadium in Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal. It is used mostly for football matches, and is the home stadium of Varzim Sport Clube. Able to hold 11,000 people, it was built in 1929.

A Ver-o-Mar
A Ver-o-Mar or Aver-o-Mar is a Portuguese ecclesiastic parish and former civil parish located in Póvoa de Varzim. In the census of 2001, it had a population of 8,675 inhabitants and a total area of 5.21 km². A 2012 law merged the parish with neighbouring Amorim and Terroso, becoming the northern parish of the city of Póvoa de Varzim, known as União das Freguesias de Aver-o-Mar, Amorim e Terroso.

The former Póvoa Bay was transformed into the city's seaport. The beach has white sand with few rocks, and is divided into three areas: Leixão, Lolé and Redonda proper. There are several bars nearby. A nightclub, Diana Bar (beach library) and Café Guarda-Sol are located on the beach.
Fragosa Beach
Fragosa Beach (Praia da Fragosa in Portuguese) is an extensive maritime beach of Póvoa de Varzim, Portugal. It is located in the parish of A Ver-o-Mar. The beach is popular in the summer, but very calm during winter. The beach has white sand and no or very few rocks. In front of the beach there's Forcado Islet, small and rocky, the islet has the shape of a camel's double hump.
Castelo da Póvoa
Castelo da Póvoa (Castle of Póvoa), officially Fortaleza da Nossa Senhora da Conceição, is a Portuguese fortress in Póvoa de Varzim rebuilt during the reigns of Peter II and John V (between 1701 and 1740) to defend the town from privateers, in the site of an earlier fort known as "Forte de Torrão". It is considered a listed property of Public Interest in Portugal.
