Warsaw Ghetto
The Warsaw Ghetto was the largest of all the Jewish ghettos in Nazi-occupied Europe during World War II. It was established in the Polish capital between October and November 16, 1940, in the territory of the General Government of German-occupied Poland, with over 400,000 Jews from the vicinity residing in an area of 3.4 km . From there, at least 254,000 Ghetto residents were sent to the Treblinka extermination camp over the course of two months in the summer of 1942.
Warsaw Ghetto Uprising
The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising (Yiddish: אױפֿשטאַנד אין װאַרשעװער געטאָ; Polish: powstanie w getcie warszawskim; German: Aufstand im Warschauer Ghetto) was the 1943 act of Jewish resistance that arose within the Warsaw Ghetto in German-occupied Poland during World War II, and which opposed Nazi Germany's final effort to transport the remaining Ghetto population to Treblinka extermination camp.
Pawiak
Pawiak was a prison built in 1835 in Warsaw, Poland. During the January 1863 Uprising, it served as a transfer camp for Poles sentenced by Imperial Russia to deportation to Siberia. During the World War II German occupation of Poland, it became part of the Warsaw concentration camp. In 1944 it was destroyed by the Germans.
Warsaw Fortress
Warsaw Fortress was a system of fortifications built in Warsaw, Poland during the 19th century when the city was part of the Russian Empire. The fortress belonged to a chain of fortresses built in Congress Poland and the region adjacent to it during this period. It was built in stages, with the first part, known as Warsaw Citadel, built the years 1832-1834, in the immediate aftermath of the November Uprising of 1830.
Umschlagplatz (Warsaw Ghetto)
In the Holocaust, the Umschlagplatz (German: collection point or reloading point) in the Warsaw Ghetto was where Jews gathered for deportation to the Treblinka extermination camp during Operation Reinhard. During the Grossaktion Warsaw, beginning on July 22, 1942, Jews were deported in crowded freight cars to Treblinka. On some days as many as 10,000 Jews were deported.
Wilson Square
Plac Wilsona ("Wilson Square") is the chief square of northern Warsaw's Żoliborz district. It is also one of the Polish capital's main transport hubs, with several bus and streetcars stops (opened to the public June 1, 1934). Wilson Square was established in the late 1920s as the main center of the newly formed district, and one of the star-shaped squares that sprang up all over Warsaw. Named for U.S. President Woodrow Wilson, after World War II (1951) it was renamed Plac Komuny Paryskiej.

Miła 18
Ulica Miła 18 (or 18 Pleasant Street in English) was the headquarters bunker (actually a shelter) of the Jewish Combat Organization (ŻOB), a Jewish resistance group in the Warsaw Ghetto in Poland during World War II. The bunker at Miła 18 was constructed by a group of underworld smugglers in 1943. The ŻOB fighters arrived there after their own bunker, at 29 Miła Street, had been discovered. The smugglers who had built it were helping the ŻOB as guides.
Plac Wilsona metro station
Metro Plac Wilsona (Wilson Square) is as a station on Line 1 of the Warsaw Metro and was opened in 2005. It is located below Plac Wilsona in the Żoliborz district in northern Warsaw. On 7 April 2008 during the Metrorail convention it won a Metro award for the best recently constructed station.
Warszawa Gdańska station
Warszawa Gdańska station (also known as Dworzec Gdański; literally Gdańsk station) is a railway station in northern Warsaw, Poland. The name of the station derives from its past as the main station serving trains towards Gdańsk. Currently, trains in that direction use the main Cross-City Line and the Central station. It is located on the "Northern Line" that runs between Central Warsaw and the city's Żoliborz district to the north.

Arkadia in Warsaw, Poland is the largest shopping complex in Central Europe. In total it has 287,000 square metres of space, 230 shops, 25 restaurants, and a movie theater. It is owned and operated by Unibail-Rodamco. Among the stores are: Carrefour, EMPiK, Leroy Merlin, Saturn, Cinema City, Euro RTV AGD, H&M, and Zara. Arkadia opened on October 20, 2004 and was developed by BEG Ingenierie Polska and Cefic Polska.
Stadion Polonii Warszawa
General Kazimierz Sosnkowski Stadium, commonly known as The Polonia Stadium or Stadion Polonii is a multi-purpose stadium in Warsaw, Poland. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and is the home ground of Polonia Warszawa. The stadium was originally built in 1928. The West stand was thoroughly modernized in 2004. The stadium was used as a training ground for UEFA Euro 2012, and is being upgraded to hold a larger audience. It currently holds 7,150 seats, subdivided as follows.

Franciszkańska
Franciszkańska (Franciscan Street) is a street in the centre of Warsaw, linking the New Town with Nalewki street. In the 19th century it was inhabited primarily by Jews, who converted the street into a large open-air marketplace. The name itself was derived from the Church of Saint Francis owned by the Franciscans. The street was destroyed during World War II, along with most of the New Town and Old Town. The Franciscans were able to rebuild their church, as well as the adjoining monastery.
Dworzec Gdański metro station
Dworzec Gdański (Gdańsk Train Station) is a station on Line 1 of the Warsaw Metro, located just south of the Warszawa Gdańska railway station, at the viaduct of Andersa Street over Słomińskiego Street. It is one of the major transport hubs in the northern part of the city of Warsaw. It was opened on 20 December 2003. The A-17 Dworzec Gdański, to give its official name, is a two-storey station, with a single central platform located on the lower level.

Gdański Bridge
The Gdański Bridge is a six-span steel truss bridge 406.5 m long and 17 m wide, across the Vistula in Warsaw, Poland. It was opened on 31 July 1959, after three years' construction. It has two elevations. The upper part serves road transport with four road lanes and sidewalk. The lower part serves tramway transport with two tracks, and also features sidewalk and cycling lane. In 1997-1998 the bridge underwent the reconstruction.

Monument to the Ghetto Heroes
The Monument to the Ghetto Heroes (Polish: Pomnik Bohaterów Getta) is a monument in Warsaw, Poland commemorating the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of 1943 during the Second World War. It is located in the area formerly part of the Warsaw Ghetto, at the spot where the first armed clash of the uprising took place. The monument was built in part from Nazi German materials originally brought to Warsaw in 1942 by Albert Speer for his planned works.
