Powązki Cemetery
Powązki Cemetery, also known as the Stare Powązki (English: Old Powązki) is a historic cemetery located in the Wola district, western part of Warsaw, Poland. It is the most famous cemetery in the city, and one of the oldest. Found here are the graves of many illustrious individuals from Polish history, including those interred along the "Avenue of Notables" (Aleja Zasłużonych) established in 1925.
Warsaw Fortress
Warsaw Fortress was a system of fortifications built in Warsaw, Poland during the 19th century when the city was part of the Russian Empire. The fortress belonged to a chain of fortresses built in Congress Poland and the region adjacent to it during this period. It was built in stages, with the first part, known as Warsaw Citadel, built the years 1832-1834, in the immediate aftermath of the November Uprising of 1830.
Umschlagplatz (Warsaw Ghetto)
In the Holocaust, the Umschlagplatz (German: collection point or reloading point) in the Warsaw Ghetto was where Jews gathered for deportation to the Treblinka extermination camp during Operation Reinhard. During the Grossaktion Warsaw, beginning on July 22, 1942, Jews were deported in crowded freight cars to Treblinka. On some days as many as 10,000 Jews were deported.
Wilson Square
Plac Wilsona ("Wilson Square") is the chief square of northern Warsaw's Żoliborz district. It is also one of the Polish capital's main transport hubs, with several bus and streetcars stops (opened to the public June 1, 1934). Wilson Square was established in the late 1920s as the main center of the newly formed district, and one of the star-shaped squares that sprang up all over Warsaw. Named for U.S. President Woodrow Wilson, after World War II (1951) it was renamed Plac Komuny Paryskiej.
Miła 18
Ulica Miła 18 (or 18 Pleasant Street in English) was the headquarters bunker (actually a shelter) of the Jewish Combat Organization (ŻOB), a Jewish resistance group in the Warsaw Ghetto in Poland during World War II. The bunker at Miła 18 was constructed by a group of underworld smugglers in 1943. The ŻOB fighters arrived there after their own bunker, at 29 Miła Street, had been discovered. The smugglers who had built it were helping the ŻOB as guides.
Plac Wilsona metro station
Metro Plac Wilsona (Wilson Square) is as a station on Line 1 of the Warsaw Metro and was opened in 2005. It is located below Plac Wilsona in the Żoliborz district in northern Warsaw. On 7 April 2008 during the Metrorail convention it won a Metro award for the best recently constructed station.
Warszawa Gdańska station
Warszawa Gdańska station (also known as Dworzec Gdański; literally Gdańsk station) is a railway station in northern Warsaw, Poland. The name of the station derives from its past as the main station serving trains towards Gdańsk. Currently, trains in that direction use the main Cross-City Line and the Central station. It is located on the "Northern Line" that runs between Central Warsaw and the city's Żoliborz district to the north.

Arkadia in Warsaw, Poland is the largest shopping complex in Central Europe. In total it has 287,000 square metres of space, 230 shops, 25 restaurants, and a movie theater. It is owned and operated by Unibail-Rodamco. Among the stores are: Carrefour, EMPiK, Leroy Merlin, Saturn, Cinema City, Euro RTV AGD, H&M, and Zara. Arkadia opened on October 20, 2004 and was developed by BEG Ingenierie Polska and Cefic Polska.
Stadion Polonii Warszawa
General Kazimierz Sosnkowski Stadium, commonly known as The Polonia Stadium or Stadion Polonii is a multi-purpose stadium in Warsaw, Poland. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and is the home ground of Polonia Warszawa. The stadium was originally built in 1928. The West stand was thoroughly modernized in 2004. The stadium was used as a training ground for UEFA Euro 2012, and is being upgraded to hold a larger audience. It currently holds 7,150 seats, subdivided as follows.

Franciszkańska
Franciszkańska (Franciscan Street) is a street in the centre of Warsaw, linking the New Town with Nalewki street. In the 19th century it was inhabited primarily by Jews, who converted the street into a large open-air marketplace. The name itself was derived from the Church of Saint Francis owned by the Franciscans. The street was destroyed during World War II, along with most of the New Town and Old Town. The Franciscans were able to rebuild their church, as well as the adjoining monastery.
Marymont
Marymont (from French Mont de Marie - Mary's Hill) is one of the northern neighbourhoods of Warsaw, Poland, administratively a part of the boroughs of Żoliborz (Marymont-Potok) and Bielany (Marymont-Kaskada and Marymont-Ruda). Named after the queen of Poland Maria Kazimiera, wife of king John III Sobieski, it initially housed a small summer manor. In the 18th century, it became notable for the large number of windmills located there on the high escarpment of the Vistula.
Dworzec Gdański metro station
Dworzec Gdański (Gdańsk Train Station) is a station on Line 1 of the Warsaw Metro, located just south of the Warszawa Gdańska railway station, at the viaduct of Andersa Street over Słomińskiego Street. It is one of the major transport hubs in the northern part of the city of Warsaw. It was opened on 20 December 2003. The A-17 Dworzec Gdański, to give its official name, is a two-storey station, with a single central platform located on the lower level.
Sapieha Palace, Warsaw
Sapieha Palace (Polish: pałac Sapiehów w Warszawie) is one of the palaces in Warsaw New Town district of Warsaw, Poland. Started by the powerful Sapieha family who gave the name to the building, it currently houses the Environmental Protection School Complex.
Marymont metro station
Metro Marymont is the 17th working station of the first line of the Warsaw Metro, opened on 29 December 2006. It is located in the Marymont neighbourhood of Warsaw. Since the station has no reversing facility of its own, from its opening until March 2008 it was connected to the rest of the network by a single train providing shuttle service to the nearest station at Plac Wilsona.

Gdański Bridge
The Gdański Bridge is a six-span steel truss bridge 406.5 m long and 17 m wide, across the Vistula in Warsaw, Poland. It was opened on 31 July 1959, after three years' construction. It has two elevations. The upper part serves road transport with four road lanes and sidewalk. The lower part serves tramway transport with two tracks, and also features sidewalk and cycling lane. In 1997-1998 the bridge underwent the reconstruction.
New Town Market Place, Warsaw
New Town Market Place (Polish: Rynek Nowego Miasta) is the main square of the Warsaw New Town of Warsaw, Poland. It was formed before 1408, as the main square of the Warsaw New Town. It had initially a rectangular shape, with area of 140 x 120 metres. In the 15th century a wooden town hall has been built in the centre of the square. Residential buildings were also constructed. In 1544 the square was damaged by fire, and the town hall was reconstructed as bricked.
