Powązki Cemetery
Powązki Cemetery, also known as the Stare Powązki (English: Old Powązki) is a historic cemetery located in the Wola district, western part of Warsaw, Poland. It is the most famous cemetery in the city, and one of the oldest. Found here are the graves of many illustrious individuals from Polish history, including those interred along the "Avenue of Notables" (Aleja Zasłużonych) established in 1925.

Wola
Wola is a district in western Warsaw, Poland, formerly the village of Wielka Wola, incorporated into Warsaw in 1916. An industrial area with traditions reaching back to the early 19th century, it is slowly changing into an office and residential district. Several museums are located in Wola.
Okopowa Street Jewish Cemetery
The Okopowa Street Jewish Cemetery is one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in Europe. Located on Warsaw's Okopowa street and abutting the Powązki Cemetery at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:52|14|51|N|20|58|29|E|type:landmark_region:PL | |name= }}, the Jewish Cemetery was established in 1806 and occupies 33 hectares (83 acres) of land. The cemetery contains over 200,000 marked graves, as well as mass graves of victims of the Warsaw Ghetto.
Wanda Gertz
Major Wanda Gertz (13 April 1896 – 10 November 1958) was a Polish soldier who served in the Polish Legion during World War I while masquerading as a man, under the name "Kazimierz 'Kazik' Zuchowicz". She subsequently served in the Ochotnicza Legia Kobiet ("Women's Voluntary Legion") of the Polish Army during the Polish–Soviet War, and was an officer of the Armia Krajowa ("Home Army"), codenamed "Lena", during World War II.
Wola massacre
The Wola massacre (Polish: Rzeź Woli, "Wola slaughter") was the systematic killing of around 40,000-50,000 people by Nazi German troops during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. Between 5–12 August 1944, tens of thousands of Polish civilians along with captured resistance fighters were indiscriminately shot or killed in organised mass executions throughout the Wola district of the Polish capital Warsaw.
Boernerowo
Boernerowo is a neighbourhood in the Warsaw's borough of Bemowo. Initially the spot was occupied by a small village called Babice, with an eponymous fort located in its centre. In early 1920s the area surrounding the fort was bought by the Polish state and in 1922 the Ministry of Post and Telegraphs started the construction of the Transatlantic Radio Station.

LOT Flight 7
LOT Flight 7 crashed near Okęcie Airport in Warsaw, Poland, on 14 March 1980, due to mechanical failure as the crew aborted a landing and attempted to go-around. All 87 crew and passengers died.

Rondo Zesłańców Syberyjskich w Warszawie is a roundabout in western Warsaw's Ochota district, named after Poles who have been exiled to Siberia. The following streets meet at Sybirak Roundabout: on the east, aleje Jerozolimskie (Jerusalem Avenue); on the west, aleje Jerozolimskie (Jerusalem Avenue); on the north, aleja Prymasa Tysiąclecia (Millennial Primate Avenue); on the south, ulica Bitwy Warszawskiej 1920 roku (1920 Battle of Warsaw Street).
Warsaw Insurgents Cemetery
The Warsaw Insurgents Cemetery (Polish: Cmentarz Powstańców Warszawy) is located in Wolska 174/176 street in the Wola district of Warsaw. It was established in 1945 and it occupies 1.5 ha. In this cemetery there are buried approx. 104,000 victims of World War II killed and murdered in Warsaw, including: defenders of Warsaw in its siege by Germans in September 1939, Warsaw inhabitants murdered during the German occupation, insurgents of the Warsaw Uprising of 1944.
Grzegorz Przemyk
Grzegorz Przemyk (May 17, 1964 – May 14, 1983) was a young, aspiring Polish poet from Warsaw, who was murdered by members of the Communist People's Milicja Obywatelska. His killing was one of many such politically motivated murders perpetrated against democratic opposition by the Communist regime of Poland.

It serves trains from PKP Intercity, Przewozy Regionalne, Koleje Mazowieckie, Szybka Kolej Miejska and Warszawska Kolej Dojazdowa as well as international trains passing through Warsaw.
Warszawa Wola railway station
Warszawa Wola railway station was a railway station in the Wola district of Warsaw, Poland. On 20 May 2012 it was incorporated into Warszawa Zachodnia station as its Platform 8, and is currently marked as Warszawa Zachodnia per. 8. Despite the change, it maintains all the functionality of Warszawa Wola. The station was built in the 1980s just 250 m from Warszawa Zachodnia station on the Warsaw orbital line, which goes through Warszawa Gdańska station.
Warszawa Włochy railway station
Warszawa Włochy railway station is a railway station in the Włochy district of Warsaw, Poland. It stands on the junction of lines 1 and 3: from here trains can either run on Line 1 towards Łódź or Line 3 towards Poznań. The station is served by Koleje Mazowieckie, who run trains from Skierniewice and Kutno to Warszawa Wschodnia Osobowa, and Szybka Kolej Miejska, who run trains from Pruszków PKP to Otwock.
