10th-Anniversary Stadium
10th-Anniversary Stadium, opened in 1955, was for decades the largest stadium in Warsaw, and one of the largest in Poland. Under the Polish People's Republic, it was one of the most advertised construction sites and a principal venue for Party and state festivities. In the 1980s the stadium became dilapidated, as no funds could be found to refurbish it.

Łazienkowski Bridge is a five-span steel bridge 423 m long and 28 m wide, across the Vistula in Warsaw, Poland. It was opened on 22 July 1974, after three years' construction. Wawer massacre
The Wawer massacre refers to the execution of 107 Polish civilians on the night of 26 to 27 December 1939 by the Nazi German occupiers of Wawer, Poland. The execution was a response to the deaths of two German NCOs. 120 people were arrested and 114 shot, of which 7 survived. It is considered to be one of the first large scale massacres of Polish civilians by Nazi Germany in occupied Poland.

The Temple of Divine Providence (Polish: Świątynia Opatrzności Bożej), under construction in southern Warsaw's Wilanów district, will be one the most important Roman Catholic buildings in Poland. The story of its construction began over 200 years ago. Since then, due to historic circumstances, Poles had been unable to complete a votive church to Divine Providence.
