Powązki Cemetery, also known as the Stare Powązki (English: Old Powązki) is a historic cemetery located in the Wola district, western part of Warsaw, Poland. It is the most famous cemetery in the city, and one of the oldest. Found here are the graves of many illustrious individuals from Polish history, including those interred along the "Avenue of Notables" (Aleja Zasłużonych) established in 1925.

Okopowa Street Jewish Cemetery
The Okopowa Street Jewish Cemetery is one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in Europe. Located on Warsaw's Okopowa street and abutting the Powązki Cemetery at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:52|14|51|N|20|58|29|E|type:landmark_region:PL | |name= }}, the Jewish Cemetery was established in 1806 and occupies 33 hectares (83 acres) of land. The cemetery contains over 200,000 marked graves, as well as mass graves of victims of the Warsaw Ghetto.
Wanda Gertz
Major Wanda Gertz (13 April 1896 – 10 November 1958) was a Polish soldier who served in the Polish Legion during World War I while masquerading as a man, under the name "Kazimierz 'Kazik' Zuchowicz". She subsequently served in the Ochotnicza Legia Kobiet ("Women's Voluntary Legion") of the Polish Army during the Polish–Soviet War, and was an officer of the Armia Krajowa ("Home Army"), codenamed "Lena", during World War II.
Plac Wilsona metro station
Metro Plac Wilsona (Wilson Square) is as a station on Line 1 of the Warsaw Metro and was opened in 2005. It is located below Plac Wilsona in the Żoliborz district in northern Warsaw. On 7 April 2008 during the Metrorail convention it won a Metro award for the best recently constructed station.

Wola massacre
The Wola massacre (Polish: Rzeź Woli, "Wola slaughter") was the systematic killing of around 40,000-50,000 people by Nazi German troops during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. Between 5–12 August 1944, tens of thousands of Polish civilians along with captured resistance fighters were indiscriminately shot or killed in organised mass executions throughout the Wola district of the Polish capital Warsaw.
Młociny metro station
Młociny is a Warsaw Metro station. It became the 21st station of the Warsaw Metro when it opened on 25 October 2008. It is the northern end of the first metro line and also serves as a major transfer point between different modes of transport in Warsaw, thanks to a large bus and tram interchange that was previously called Huta. It is also situated near the tram depot Żoliborz. There is also a proposed tram link due to be built in around five years linking Młociny with the North-East of the city.
Marymont
Marymont (from French Mont de Marie - Mary's Hill) is one of the northern neighbourhoods of Warsaw, Poland, administratively a part of the boroughs of Żoliborz (Marymont-Potok) and Bielany (Marymont-Kaskada and Marymont-Ruda). Named after the queen of Poland Maria Kazimiera, wife of king John III Sobieski, it initially housed a small summer manor. In the 18th century, it became notable for the large number of windmills located there on the high escarpment of the Vistula.
Marymont metro station
Metro Marymont is the 17th working station of the first line of the Warsaw Metro, opened on 29 December 2006. It is located in the Marymont neighbourhood of Warsaw. Since the station has no reversing facility of its own, from its opening until March 2008 it was connected to the rest of the network by a single train providing shuttle service to the nearest station at Plac Wilsona.

Stare Bielany metro station
Metro Stare Bielany became the 19th working station of the Warsaw Metro when it opened on 25 October 2008. It had been under construction since June, 2006. Originally, the station was to be called Bielany. The station is distinctive due to a series of wooden relief sculptures on the walls.

Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw (Polish: Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego Józefa Piłsudskiego w Warszawie) is a public institution of higher learning in Warsaw, Poland. Named after early 20th century Polish statesman Józef Piłsudski, it was founded in 1929. During the communist period (1947–1990) it was renamed to Karol Świerczewski Academy of Physical Education (Akademia Wychowania Fizycznego im. gen. broni Karola Świerczewskieg). Its rector is Henryk Sozański.
Grzegorz Przemyk
Grzegorz Przemyk (May 17, 1964 – May 14, 1983) was a young, aspiring Polish poet from Warsaw, who was murdered by members of the Communist People's Milicja Obywatelska. His killing was one of many such politically motivated murders perpetrated against democratic opposition by the Communist regime of Poland.

Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge, Warsaw
The Maria Skłodowska-Curie Bridge (Polish: Most Marii Skłodowskiej-Curie) is a bridge over the Vistula River in Warsaw, Poland, linking the northern suburbs of Białołęka and Bielany. The structure actually consists of three parallel bridges, two for motor vehicles and one for light rail, bicycles and pedestrians. The first two parts were opened on March 24, 2012 making it the eighth road bridge in the capital of Poland, while the remaining is expected to be completed in June 2012.
