Kraków-Płaszów concentration camp
The Płaszów or Kraków-Płaszów concentration camp was a Nazi German labour and concentration camp built by the SS in Płaszów, a southern suburb of Kraków (now part of Podgórze district), soon after the German invasion of Poland and the subsequent creation of the General Government.
Kraków Ghetto
The Kraków Ghetto was one of five major, metropolitan Jewish ghettos created by Nazi Germany in the new General Government territory (Generalgouvernement) during the German occupation of Poland in World War II. It was created for the purpose of exploitation, terror, and persecution of local Polish Jews as well as the staging area for separating the "able workers" from those who would later be deemed unworthy of life.
Galeria Kazimierz
Galeria Kazimierz is a large shopping center located in the Grzegórzki borough of Kraków. The name derives from the neighbouring district of Kazimierz. Phase 1 opened in 2004. The mall has around 38,150 m of floor space, complete with a wide variety of eateries and large shops such as Zara, Puma, Quiksilver, H&M and Alma Market. In all there is more than 130 retail units present within the mall along with a ten screen cinema.
Krakus Mound
Krakus Mound is a tumulus located in the Podgórze district of Kraków, Poland; assumed to be the resting place of the legendary prince Krakus. It is located on Lasota Hill, approximately 3 kilometres south of the city centre, at an altitude of 271 metres, with the base diameter of 60 metres and the height of 16 metres . The age and the original purpose of the mound remain a mystery.
Hujowa Górka
Hujowa Górka (sometimes Chujowa Górka) is a place near Kraków-Płaszów concentration camp, where in April 1944 the Nazis exhumed and incinerated the bodies of around ten thousand previously killed Jews, in order to hide the evidence of the crime before withdrawal. The place takes its name from the surname of Unterscharführer Albert Hujar (also Huyar) who used to commit and direct the executions.

Divine Mercy Sanctuary (Kraków)
The Divine Mercy Sanctuary in Kraków, Poland is a Roman Catholic basilica dedicated to the Divine Mercy devotion, as the resting place of Saint Faustina Kowalska, canonized on April 30, 2000. The new basilica was built between 1999–2002, and is located in the District of Łagiewniki at ul. św. Faustyny street. Two Popes have visited the shrine and millions of pilgrims from around the world continue to visit it every year.

The Kraków-Podgórze Detention Centre (Polish: Areszt Śledczy Kraków Podgórze) is a correctional facility located at ul. Stefana Czarnieckiego 3 in Kraków, Poland, in the municipal district of Podgórze. Originally, it was a turn-of-the-century County Court and revenue service, built in 1905, from design by Ferdynand Liebling. At present, it is a community branch of Detention Centre Kraków, with main building located at ul. Montelupich 7 street.
