General Government

Skałka
Church of St Michael the Archangel and St Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr and Pauline Fathers Monastery, Skałka, which means "a small rock" in Polish, is a small outcrop in Kraków where the Bishop of Kraków saint Stanislaus of Szczepanów was slain by order of Polish king Bolesław II the Bold in 1079. This action resulted in the king's exile and the eventual canonization of the slain bishop. Originally, a Romanesque church was built there.
Krakus Mound
Krakus Mound is a tumulus located in the Podgórze district of Kraków, Poland; assumed to be the resting place of the legendary prince Krakus. It is located on Lasota Hill, approximately 3 kilometres south of the city centre, at an altitude of 271 metres, with the base diameter of 60 metres and the height of 16 metres . The age and the original purpose of the mound remain a mystery.

Two Popes have visited the shrine and millions of pilgrims from around the world continue to visit it every year.
