Philippine Airlines Flight 143 (PR143) was the route designator of a domestic flight from the Manila Ninoy Aquino Airport, Metro Manila, Philippines to Mandurriao Airport, Iloilo City. On May 11, 1990, the Boeing 737-300 (C/N 24466, MSN 1771) assigned to that route exploded and burned on the ground at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Bicutan railway station
Bicutan station is a station on the South Main Line ("Southrail") of the Philippine National Railways. Like all PNR stations, this station is at grade. The station is located on General Santos Avenue in Parañaque City, near the border with Taguig City and beside the ramp for northbound vehicles entering the South Luzon Expressway. The station is the fourteenth station southbound from Tutuban and is the only PNR station serving Parañaque City.

Like all PNR stations, this station is at grade. It is located on the East Service Road of the South Luzon Expressway in Taguig City, on the foot of the Metro Manila Skyway. It is named after its major landmark, the grounds of the state-owned Food Terminal, Inc.
2011 Beechcraft 65-80 Queen Air crash
The 2011 Beechcraft 65-80 Queen Air crash occurred on December 10, 2011, when a Beechcraft 65-80 Queen Air cargo plane crashed into the Felixberto Serrano Elementary School near Manila, the capital city of the Philippines, killing at least 14 people including the three crew members on board the aircraft, and injuring over 20 people. Approximately 50 houses in the residential area were set ablaze by the subsequent fire caused by the plane crash.
