Epifanio de los Santos Avenue
Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, commonly abbreviated as EDSA, is an important arterial road and freeway in the Republic of the Philipppines. The Avenue serves the National Capital Region, or the Metropolitan Manila, passing through 6 of the 17 settlements in the region, namely, the cities of Caloocan, Quezon City, Mandaluyong, San Juan, Makati and Pasay.
Coconut Palace
The Coconut Palace, also known as Tahanang Pilipino (Filipino Home), is the official residence and principal workplace of the Vice President of the Philippines. Located at the Cultural Center of the Philippines, in Pasay, south of Manila, it was commissioned by former First Lady Imelda Marcos for Pope John Paul II's visit in 1981. The Manila Film Center is a national building located at the southwest end of the Cultural Center of the Philippines complex in Pasay City, Philippines. The structure was designed by architect Froilan Hong where its edifice is supported on more than nine hundred piles which reaches to the bed-rock about 120 feet below. The Manila Film Center served as the main theater for the 1st Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) from the 18th to the 29th of January, 1982.

Taft Avenue
Taft Avenue is a major road thoroughfare in Metro Manila. It crosses through three major cities of the capital region: Manila, Pasay and Parañaque. The road was named after the former Governor-General of the Philippines and U. S President, William Howard Taft. The Philippines was a former commonwealth territory of the United States in the first half of the twentieth century.
