2010 Philippine Bar exam bombing
The 2010 Philippine Bar exam bombing occurred on Taft Avenue near De La Salle University (DLSU), located in Malate, Manila, Philippines, on September 26, 2010, at 5:05 pm PST, a few minutes after Philippine Bar examinees began exiting DLSU. An Mk2 grenade was thrown at a group of Alpha Phi Beta members from San Beda College. They were standing near Tau Gamma Phi members, whom police believed were the real target of the explosive.
Manila South Cemetery
The Manila South Cemetery, which measures 25 hectares, is one of the largest cemeteries in Metro Manila. The South Cemetery was legally acquired by Ordinance 726 and other actions taken by the Municipal Board and Mayor Zobel vs. City of Manila (1925), and though located within Makati, it is legally an exclave of Manila as part of its Fifth Congressional District. The cemetery has a total capacity of 52,234 graves and has an estimated total of burials at 266,170 as of 30 June 2007.
Carmona, Makati City
Barangay Carmona is a barangay located in the northern part of Makati City. It is a residential area with a population of 3,096 recorded by the 2010 census. The barangay was named after Comandante Isidoro Carmona, a Filipino soldier who fought during the Philippine Revolution against Spaniards. Barangay Carmona is the 2nd least populous Barangay in Makati City with 3,096 residents.
