Darul 'Uloom Karachi
Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi is an Islamic seminary located in Karachi, Pakistan. It continues the tradition of the Darul uloom system initiated by Darul Uloom Deoband. It was started by the late Grand Mufti of Pakistan, Mufti Muhammad Shafi and Maulana Noor Ahmad in 1951. He was previously associated with Darul Uloom Deoband, where he also served as the Grand Mufti, but moved to Pakistan following the independence in 1947.

Malir River Bridge
The Malir River Bridge is to date Pakistan's largest bridge which spans 5,000 metres . This bridge was inaugurated by Governor of Sindh Dr Ishrat ul Ibad on Wednesday 4 February 2009. The cost of the bridge is PKR 1.2 billion or USD 14 million funded by the Government of Pakistan. The bridge has shortened the distance by 28 kilometres for the residents of Korangi, Landhi and Shah Faisal towns. To enable construction 42 houses were demolished and the owners were compensated by the government.

Landhi Korangi Zoo, established in 1990, is a zoological garden located at Korangi, Landhi Town, Karachi District, Sindh, Pakistan. It is spread over an area of approximately 4 acres and contains a fewer variety of animals compared to Karachi Zoo. The zoo operates under the City District Government Karachi and is a member of SAZARC. In 2006, 4 million Pakistani rupees were allocated to the Landhi Korangi Zoo for bringing new animals particularly a pair of lions.
