Masjid e Tooba
Masjid e Tooba or Tooba Mosque is in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Locally, it is known as the Gol Masjid. Masjid e Tooba was built in 1969 in Defence Housing Society Karachi, Karachi. It is just off main Korangi Road. Masjid e Tooba is often claimed to be the largest single-dome mosque in the world. It is also major tourist attraction in Karachi. Masjid e Tooba is built with pure white marble.
Climate of Karachi
The climate of Karachi features an arid climate, albeit a moderate version of this climate. Karachi is located on the coast and as a result has a relatively mild climate. Karachi has two main seasons; Summer & Winter, while spring and autumn are very short. Summer season persists for longest period during the year. The level of precipitation is low for most of the year. Less precipitation during summer is due to inversion layer. Karachi also receives the monsoon rains from July to September.

Frere Hall
Frere Hall is one of the many remnant buildings of the British colonial era that still exist in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It was built in honour of Sir Henry Bartle Edward Frere (1815–1884), who was known for promoting economic development in Karachi. As of 2011, Frere hall is open to the public again. On Sundays there is a book bazaar in the courtyards where it is possible to purchase some old out of print books amongst others.
Saint Patrick's Cathedral, Karachi
St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Karachi, is situated on Shahrah-e-Iraq, formerly known as Clarke Street, located near the Empress Market in Karachi, Pakistan. The first church in Sindh (except for possibly one in Thatta) was initially built on the grounds of this cathedral in 1845, and was called St. Patrick’s Church.

Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre
The Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (J.P.M.C. , a.k.a. Jinnah Hospital) is located at Rafique Shaheed Road in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The JPMC is a public hospital established in 1959. The original hospital operated in a building that was an army barracks constructed in 1865, and moved to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre in 1959.

Holy Family Hospital, Karachi
Holy Family Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan, was founded in 1948 by the Medical Mission Sisters, a Roman Catholic religious order for women based in Philadelphia, USA. This was at a time when very few health care facilities existed in Pakistan. The founder of the Medical Mission Sisters, Doctor Anna Dengel arrived in 1920 in Rawalpindi to work as a mission doctor at the 16-bed St. Catherine's Hospital. Three of these Sisters worked together from 1967 to 2009 at the Hospital.
Karachi Cantonment railway station
Karachi Cantonment Railway Station (often abbreviated as Karachi Cantt. ) is one of the principal railway stations in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is situated near Dr Daud Pota Road. It was earlier known as Frere Street Station. The construction of the station was started in 1896 and was completed in 1898 at a total cost of Rs. 80,000. The present building of Karachi Cantt station has been declared a ‘Protected Heritage’ by the Government of Sindh.
Empress Market
The Empress Market is a famous marketplace situated in the Saddar Town locality of Karachi, Pakistan. The market traces its origins to the British Raj era, when it was first constructed. Today, it is amongst the most popular and busy places for shopping in Karachi and reflects as one of the few historical spots of the city. Commodities sold in the Empress Market range from condiments, fruit, vegetables and meat to stationary material, textiles and pet shops.
Cantonment Public School
Cantonment Public School, shortened to 'Cantt Public School', was a fee paying school located in Karachi, Pakistan. It catered for primary and secondary level education (up to matriculation or secondary school certificate) for the children of Armed Forces personnel stationed in Karachi Cantonment, primarily, but also open to civilians, in limited numbers, as well. The school motto was "Crave thy destiny and know thyself".
Frere Street
Frere Street was renamed, during the 1970s, to Dr Daud Pota Road. It was one of the streets in Saddar Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It may have been named after Sir Henry Bartle Edward Frere (1815–1884), whose name is also carried by one of the iconic buildings of the Raj in India, Frere Hall, Karachi. Frere Street ran parallel to Zaibunnisa Street.

Bagh-e-Jinnah is located on Abdullah Haroon Road and Fatima Jinnah Road in Karachi, Pakistan. It is also known as Frere Hall Garden and spread over of 16 acres. The park is famous for its Frere Hall constructed in 1865. A library and an art gallery "Sadequain Hall" are houses in this hall.
Mahmud Hussain
Mahmud Hussain Khan was a Pakistani academic, educationist, and politician, credited with pioneering the study of social sciences in Pakistan. A supporter of the Pakistan Movement, he was appointed Minister of State for both Defence and Foreign Affairs in 1949, before serving as Minister for Education from 1952 to 1953.
