Lahore
Lahore is the capital of the Pakistani province of Punjab and the second largest city in the country. It is the largest native Punjabi-populated city in the world and an important historical centre of the country. With a rich history dating back over a millennium, Lahore is a main cultural centre of Punjab and Pakistan. One of the most densely populated cities in the world, Lahore remains an economic, political, transportation, entertainment, and educational hub.
Sheesh Mahal (Lahore)
The Sheesh Mahal is located within the Shah Burj block in northern-western corner of Lahore Fort. It was constructed under the reign of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1631-32. The ornate white marble pavilion is inlaid with pietra dura and complex mirror-work of the finest quality. The hall was reserved for personal use by the imperial family and close aides. It is among the 21 monuments that were built by successive Mughal emperors inside Lahore Fort, and forms the jewel in the Fort’s crown.
University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore
The University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, or UET Lahore, is the oldest engineering university in Pakistan. It is located in Lahore, Punjab. It offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in the disciplines of Engineering, Management and Sciences. UET is a public university and the governor of Punjab is the chancellor of the university. The vice-chancellor is the executive head and manages university functions.
Bagh-e-Jinnah (Lahore)
Bagh-e-Jinnah is a historical park in the city of Lahore, Pakistan. It was formerly known as Lawrence Gardens. Today, the large green space contains a botanical garden, a mosque, and Quaid-e-Azam Library situated in a Victorian building. There are also entertainment and sports facilities within the park: an open-air theatre, a restaurant, tennis courts and the Gymkhana Cricket Ground. It is located on Lawrence Road next to Lahore Zoo, directly across from the Governor's House on The Mall.
Shalimar Gardens, Lahore
The Shalimar Gardens, sometimes written Shalamar Gardens, is a Pakistani garden and it was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in Lahore, modern day Pakistan. Construction began in 1641 AD (1051 AH) and was completed the following year. The project management was carried out under the superintendence of Khalilullah Khan, a noble of Shah Jahan's court, in cooperation with Ali Mardan Khan and Mulla Alaul Maulk Tuni.
Lahore railway station
The Lahore Railway Station in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, was built by British colonists between 1859-1860 at the cost of half a million Rupees. It is the junction of Lahore-Amritsar railway line. It is of typical grand British architecture in South Asia during the British Raj period. The railway network established by the British was extensive and is one of their lasting contributions to the culture and infrastructure of this region.
Wazir Khan Mosque
The Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan, is famous for its extensive faience tile work. It has been described as 'a mole on the cheek of Lahore'. It was built in seven years, starting around 1634–1635 AD, during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan. It was built by Hakim Shaikh Ilm-ud-din Ansari, a native of Chiniot, who rose to be the court physician to Shah Jahan and a governor of Lahore.
Bhong Mosque
Bhong Mosque is located in the village of Bhong, Sadiqabad Tehsil, Rahim Yar Khan District, Southern Punjab Pakistan. It was designed and constructed over a period of nearly 50 years (1932–1982) and won the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 1986. A postage stamp depicting it was issued on May 12, 2004 in Pakistan.
Dai Anga Mosque
Dai Anga Mosque is a mosque situated near the railway station of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. This historic Mosque is in the Naulakha area, about quarter mile away from Lahore Railway Station. It is widely believed that Dai Anga built this mosque in 1635 AD (1045 Hijri), before she went to perform Hajj. However, the inscription in the mosque is said to date it to 1649 AD (1060 AH). Zeb Un Nisa aka Dai Anga, was a wet nurse of Mughal King Shah Jehan and was well respected in the royal family.

Shad Bagh is one of the major commercial and residential locality in the north of Lahore Dist. , at twenty minutes drive from Grand Trunk road. Areas near Shad Bagh are Badami Bagh, Wassan Pura, Chah Miran, Bhagat Pura, Scheme No2, Data Nagar and Bhamma. The new Ring Road also passes through Shad Bagh. Band Road acts like a border which is very near to the Ravi River. Major business activities are on New Shad Bagh Road, Amir Road and Main Road.
Old City (Hyderabad, Pakistan)
The Old City is the name given to parts in the east of the city of Hyderabad in Sindh, Pakistan that were part of the city before the creation of Latifabad and Qasimabad. Railway Stadium
Railway Stadium is a football stadium in Lahore, Pakistan and is the home of the Pakistan Railway FC. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000. It is also the former home stadium of the Pakistan national football team, however after many decades they moved to the bigger and more advanced Peoples Football Stadium. Currently the stadium is also home to Pakistan Premier League 2007-08 champions WAPDA FC as well as PEL FC.
Moti Masjid, Lahore
Moti Masjid, one of the "Pearl Mosques", is a 17th century religious building located inside the Lahore Fort. It is a small, white marble structure built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, and is among his prominent extensions to the Lahore Fort Complex. The mosque is located on the western side of Lahore Fort, closer to Alamgiri Gate, the main entrance.
Mosque of Mariyam Zamani Begum
Mosque of Mariyam Zamani Begum also known as Begum Shahi Mosque is a mosque situated Walled City of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was built by Nuruddin Salim Jahangir, for his mother Mariam-uz-Zamani, and the wife of Mughal Emperor, Akbar. Mariam's Tomb is situated one km away from Tomb of Akbar the Great, at Sikandra, near Agra. It was made into a gunpowder factory by Ranjit Singh due to the mosque's utilization, that the mosque became known as Barudkhana Wali Masjid.

Charing Cross, Lahore
Charing Cross, renamed Faisal Square, and now officially renamed as Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam to honour the founder of the nation of Pakistan, is a neighbourhood of Lahore, Pakistan, located on Mall Road. Laid out during the British period, it is named for Charing Cross in London. Until 1951 a marble pavilion at Charing Cross displayed a bronze statue of Queen Victoria, but now the statue's place in the pavilion is occupied by a bronze replica of the Quran.

Naulakha Pavilion
The Naulakha Pavilion is a prominent white marble personal chamber with a curvilinear roof, located beside the Sheesh Mahal courtyard, in the northern section of the Lahore Fort in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The structure was originally inlaid with precious and semi-precious stones and overlooked the Ravi River. Today, it is one of the 21 monuments situated within the Lahore Fort, with its western façade providing a panoramic view of the ancient city of Lahore.
