Islamia College University
Islamia College is a renowned educational institution located in the city of Peshawar in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It was founded in October 1913 by regional leader Nawab Sir Sahibzada Abdul Qayyum and then Chief Commissioner of the province Sir George Roos-Keppel in an effort to provide quality education to the region's youth. Today, the college educates its students in arts, humanities and modern sciences.

Hayatabad
Hayatabad is a modern suburb on the south-western fringe of Peshawar, the capital of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It was named after Hayat Sherpao, former Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and a notable leader of Pakistan Peoples Party. It is close to the Khyber Agency which leads to Khyber Pass, a prominent route through the Hindu Kush mountains to Landi Kotal, the highest point of the pass, and the Afghan border.
Bacha Khan International Airport
Bacha Khan International Airport, previously called Peshawar International Airport, is an international airport located in the city of Peshawar in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Located about a 10-minute drive from the centre of Peshawar, it is the fourth busiest airport in Pakistan. One unusual feature is that one end of the main runway is crossed by a railway line -- the seldom-used Khyber train safari to Landi Kotal in the Khyber Pass.
Lady Reading Hospital
The Lady Reading Hospital is located at Peshawar in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan. It is one of the most important Post Graduate Medical Institute in Pakistan. It is also called loye (big) huspatal (hospital) and Gernali Huspatal. It is named after Lady Reading, the wife of the Viceroy of India, Lord Reading. It is the biggest hospital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province providing tertiary care facilities.
Bala Hissar, Peshawar
Bala Hissar is one of the most historic places of Peshawar. The word Bala Hissar is from Dari Persian, meaning, “elevated or high fort”. The name was given by the Pashtun King Timur Shah Durrani (1773–1793), who used the fort as the winter capital of the Afghan Durrani Empire, with the summer capital being in Kabul. The Sikh empire who conquered Peshawar in the early 19th century named it Samir Garh in 1834 but the name did not become popular.
Arbab Niaz Stadium
Arbab Niaz Stadium is a Test cricket ground in Peshawar, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It replaced the Peshawar Club Ground as the home ground for the Peshawar cricket team in 1985. The ground has hosted 17 ODIs since 1984 (including two where no play was possible), and seven Test matches since 1995, most recently in 2003. The ground has a seating capacity of 20,000.
Kotla Mohsin Khan
Kotla Mohsin Khan was constructed in the mid-16th century in the old city of Peshawar, and today consists of two domed tombs and the famous majestic gateway, it was also the residence of Mazullah Khan, a 17th century Pashto poet. The last Mughal governor, Nawab Nasir Khan welcomed the Afghan King, Mohammed Nadir Shah and gifted him the key to Peshawar in 1741 when he visited the city. This signaled the end of the Mughal Empire in Peshawar.
Mohabbat Khan Mosque
The Mahabat Khan Mosque is a 17th century mosque in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is named after the Mughal governor of Peshawar Nawab Mahabat Khan who served under Emperors Shah Jehan and Aurangzeb and who was the grandson of Nawab Dadan Khan (who had been governor of Lahore). The name of the Masjid and the governor who built is consistently mispronounced as 'Muhabbat Khan' ('Love Khan') by the public instead of 'Mahabat Khan' ('Awe-inspiring Khan'). The Mosque was built in 1630.
Kanishka stupa
The Kanishka stupa was a monumental stupa established by the Kushan king Kanishka during the 2nd century CE in today's Shah-ji-Dheri on the outskirts of Peshawar, Pakistan. The stupa was described by Chinese pilgrims in the 7th century as the tallest stupa in all India. Archaeologists have examined the remains of the structure and determined that it had a diameter of 286 feet.

Khyber Teaching Hospital is a university hospital of Khyber Medical College in the city of Peshawar, Pakistan. KTH is one of the largest hospitals in the country. It is a tertiary health care facility serving a large population of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). The more than 500-bedded hospital has most of the major and minor medical and surgical departments.

Islamia Colony is one of the neighbourhoods of S.I.T.E. Town in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. There are several ethnic groups in Islamia Colony including Muhajirs, Punjabis, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Memons, Bohras, Ismailis, etc. Over 99% of the population is Muslim. The population of S.I.T.E. Town is estimated to be nearly one million.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly (formerly NWFP) is the unicameral legislative body of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. It was established under Article 106 of the Constitution of the Pakistan. The assembly has 124 elected members, 99 regular seats, 22 seats reserved for women and 3 seats for Non-Muslims.
PAF Base Peshawar
PAF Base Peshawar is an airbase of the Pakistan Air Force located in Peshawar, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is the site of PAF's Northern Air Command, located immediately to the east of Peshawar International Airport, which is shared by civil aviation flights and military flights. On December 9, 2007, an unidentified party fired four rockets, two of which landed near the PAF Airbase and two landed in the vacant ground near the Peshawar International Airport.
Badaber Uprising
Badaber Uprising was an armed uprising staged by Soviet and Afghan prisoners of war held at the Badaber fortress-jail in Pakistan on April 26 and 27, 1985. Against much larger forces of Pakistan's regular army and the Afghan mujahideen from the Jamiat-e Islami party, the captives' attempted to liberate themselves failed. As a result of the artillery shelling of the Badaber prison, all the prisoners of war were killed in this two day uprising.

28 October 2009 Peshawar bombing
The 28 October 2009 Peshawar bombing occurred in Peshawar, Pakistan, when a car bomb was detonated in a Mina Bazar (Market for women and children) of the city. The bomb killed 137 people and injured more than 200 others, making it the deadliest attack in Peshawar's history. Pakistani government officials believe the Taliban to be responsible, but both Taliban and Al-Qaeda sources have denied involvement in the attack. The incident drew harsh international criticism.
2010 Peshawar bombing
The 19 April 2010 Peshawar bombing was a suicide bombing that occurred in a marketplace in Peshawar, Pakistan on 19 April 2010. At least 25 people died. The blast, which happened in Qissa Khawani market, killed Dost Muhammad, who was the local leader of Jamaat-e-Islami and was leading a protest against Load shedding. The attack happened at about 6:30 pm local time. The attack also appeared to target a senior police officer Gulfat Hussein a shia.

Peshawar Air Station is a former United States Air Force Security Service listening post, used by the 6937th Communications Group from 1958 until January 7, 1970, when the facility was formally closed. It was located in Badaber, a remote area about 4 miles south of the city of Peshawar, Pakistan.
Gulbahar Colony
Gulbahar Colony is a residential area in southern Faisalabad, Pakistan. The famous Satyana Road passes on eastern side of colony. Besides, it is bounded by Batala Colony in the north, Garden Colony in the west and Muhammad Abad on its south. "Gates" pronounced as "Getaan" fall on NE of this colony. Although "Gates" no more exist but the place is still known after its old name.
Faqeerabad, Peshawar
Faqeerabad (commonly known as Faqirabad) is a neighbourhood of New Peshawar, Pakistan. It used to be a posh neighbourhood, but following an influx of Afghan refuges and Internally Displaced People (IDP), the area lost its charm and now resembles old Peshawar. Faqeerabad (Faqirabad) consists of Zaryab Colony, Afghan colony, Ashrafia Colony, Shakirabad, Zaheerabad and Shahi Bagh.
