Supreme Court of Pakistan
The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCOP) is the apex court in the of Pakistan, the final arbiter of legal and constitutional disputes. The Supreme Court has a permanent seat in Islamabad. It also has a number of Branch Registries where cases are heard. The court has a number of de jure powers, outlined in the Constitution. Through several periods of military rule and constitutional suspensions, the court has also established itself as a de facto check on military power.
Pir Sohawa
Pir Sohawa is a rapidly developing tourist resort located on top of Margalla Hills and 45-minutes drive from downtown Islamabad. It has a 3000 plus ft elevation and located in Monal village which is geographically part of Haripur District. Pir Sohawa is a popular destination among the residents of Islamabad, as well as the foreign tourists. On 6th January 2012, after almost six years, Pir Sohawa, the city’s highest tourist spot, received few inches of snowfall.

Golra Sharif is a town situated near the Margalla Hills, in the Islamabad Capital Territory, Pakistan, at about 520 m above sea level, 17 km from the ancient city of Taxila. The shrine in Golra Sharif has a lot of importance for the people of the Pothohar Plateau and yearly anniversary of the Pir Meher Ali Shah (RA) is attended by thousands every year to pay their regards. Margalla Hills
The Margalla Hills — also called the Margalla Mountain Range, is a hill range part of the lesser Himalayas located north of Islamabad, Pakistan. Margalla Range has an area of 12,605 hectares. The hills are a part of Murree hills. It is a range with many valleys as well as high mountains. The hill range nestles between an elevation of 685 meters at the western end and 1,604 meters on its east with average height of 1000 meters. Its highest peak is Tilla Charouni.
International Islamic University, Islamabad
The International Islamic University, Islamabad is a seat of Islamic learning in Pakistan. The foundation of the International Islamic University, Islamabad was laid on November 11, 1980. The raison d'être of this university was the desire to produce scholars and practitioners, imbued with Islamic learning, and capable of meeting the needs of the Muslim Ummah. The university was reconstituted as the International Islamic University, Islamabad with the promulgation of Ordinance No. xxx of 1985.
Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium
Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium is the only international standard cricket stadium in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. This stadium has recently been expanded to cater for the ever increasing number of spectators for the game. With the increase in capacity, it can now hold around 25,000 spectators. The stadium hosted its first Test match in 1993.

Rawal lake

Korang River along with some other small streams coming from Margalla Hills have been set to form this artificial lake which covers an area of 8.8 km². Korang River is the outlet stream of Rawal Dam. Rawal Lake is located within an isolated section of the Margalla Hills National Park.

After a competition among many renowned architects, Arif Masood’s plan was selected for the final design. The blooming flower shape of the monument represents Pakistan's progress as a rapidly developing country. The four main petals of the monument represent the four provinces, while the three smaller petals represent the three territories.

2008 Danish embassy bombing in Islamabad
The 2008 Danish embassy bombing was an attack on the Danish embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan on 2 June 2008. The suspected suicide car bombing in the parking lot of the embassy took place at around 12:10 pm, killing at least five and wounding many more. The Danish national security intelligence agency PET has concluded that al-Qaida was behind the attack. Al-Qaida claimed responsibility for the attack on 5 June 2008.
International Grammar School & College
The International Grammar School & College (IGSC)] is a high school in Islamabad, Pakistan, first established in 1982. Located in the F-11 sector of Islamabad, the purpose-built campus covers 2½ acres of land. The school offers courses at the Montessori level and was the first institute in Islamabad to offer A-level courses.

Airblue Flight 202
Airblue Flight 202 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight which crashed on 28 July 2010 near Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, killing all 146 passengers and six crew on board. It is the deadliest air accident to occur in Pakistan to date. The aircraft, an Airblue operated Airbus A321-231 narrow-body jet airliner, crashed in the Margalla Hills north of Islamabad during a flight from Karachi's Jinnah International Airport to Benazir Bhutto International Airport.

Zero Point Interchange
Zero Point Interchange is a cloverleaf interchange built at the intersection of Islamabad Highway, Kashmir Highway and Khayaban-e-Suharwardy, named after the name for this intersection. The project is designed by Engineering Consultant Int. (Pvt. )Ltd. The construction work started on 11 September 2008. The interchange was formally inaugurated in July 2011 by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani, though construction work on a loop was still in progress.
