Assassination of Benazir Bhutto
The assassination of Benazir Bhutto occurred on 27 December 2007 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Bhutto, twice Prime Minister of Pakistan (1988–1990; 1993–1996) and then-leader of the opposition Pakistan Peoples Party, had been campaigning ahead of elections scheduled for January 2008. Shots were fired at her after a political rally at Liaquat National Bagh, and a suicide bomb was detonated immediately following the shooting. She was declared dead at 18:16 local time, at Rawalpindi General Hospital.

Liaquat National Bagh (Park), usually just referred to as Liaquat Bagh, is a famous park on Murree Road in the city of Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. Two Prime Ministers of Pakistan have been assassinated in this park. The park was formerly known as Municipal Park, but was renamed "Liaquat National Bagh (Park)" after the assassination of Liaquat Ali Khan in 1951. It is known as a place for political gatherings and for speeches.

Zero Point Interchange
Zero Point Interchange is a cloverleaf interchange built at the intersection of Islamabad Highway, Kashmir Highway and Khayaban-e-Suharwardy, named after the name for this intersection. The project is designed by Engineering Consultant Int. (Pvt. )Ltd. The construction work started on 11 September 2008. The interchange was formally inaugurated in July 2011 by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani, though construction work on a loop was still in progress.
