Islamabad Capital Territory
The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) is one of the two federal territories of Pakistan. It includes Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan, and covers an area of 1,165.5 km² (450 mi²) of which 906 km² (349.8 mi²) is Islamabad proper. It is represented in the National Assembly by two constituencies, namely NA-48 and NA-49.
Benazir Bhutto International Airport
Benazir Bhutto International Airport is the third-largest airport in Pakistan, serving the capital Islamabad and its twin city Rawalpindi in the province of Punjab. Previously known as the Islamabad International Airport, it was renamed after the late Pakistani leader Benazir Bhutto by the then Prime Minister of Pakistan, Yusuf Raza Gillani on 21 June 2008. The airport is actually located outside of Islamabad, in the area of Chaklala, Rawalpindi.

Rawal lake
Rawal Lake in Pakistan is an artificial reservoir that provides the water needs for the cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. Korang River along with some other small streams coming from Margalla Hills have been set to form this artificial lake which covers an area of 8.8 km². Korang River is the outlet stream of Rawal Dam. Rawal Lake is located within an isolated section of the Margalla Hills National Park.

Assassination of Benazir Bhutto
The assassination of Benazir Bhutto occurred on 27 December 2007 in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Bhutto, twice Prime Minister of Pakistan (1988–1990; 1993–1996) and then-leader of the opposition Pakistan Peoples Party, had been campaigning ahead of elections scheduled for January 2008. Shots were fired at her after a political rally at Liaquat National Bagh, and a suicide bomb was detonated immediately following the shooting. She was declared dead at 18:16 local time, at Rawalpindi General Hospital.
Liaquat National Bagh
Liaquat National Bagh (Park), usually just referred to as Liaquat Bagh, is a famous park on Murree Road in the city of Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. Two Prime Ministers of Pakistan have been assassinated in this park. The park was formerly known as Municipal Park, but was renamed "Liaquat National Bagh (Park)" after the assassination of Liaquat Ali Khan in 1951. It is known as a place for political gatherings and for speeches.
Rawalpindi General Hospital
Rawalpindi General Hospital, Murree Road, Rawalpindi, Pakistan, is a major teaching hospital offering the basic specialities as well as psychiatry, orthopaedics, urology and cardiology. It is associated with Rawalpindi Medical College. It is the place where Benazir Bhutto died on 27 December 2007. RGH is affiliated with Rawalpindi Medical College.
2008 Orakzai bombing
The 10 October 2008 Orakzai bombing occurred when a suicide bomber drove and detonated a pick-up truck packed with 300 kg of explosives into a meeting of 600 people, killing 40 instantly and injuring 81, although the toll later rose to 110 as many died in hospitals. The attack occurred in a remote region where the injured could not get medical attention for several hours. The attack was preceded by a row between Taliban militants and local Shia tribesmen.
Khurram Colony
Khurram Colony is a neighborhood of Rawalpindi in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. Adjacent to the neighborhood of Muslim Town, Khurram Colony runs along the southern side of Haji Chowk to the Jahaz Ground Stop. Islamabad International Airport abuts the southern edge of the suburb. Vice Admiral Shahid Iqbal is a notable resident.

Alipur Farash
Alipur Farash or "Frash Town" is a settlement in Islamabad, located on the Lehtrar road approx. 17km (25 minutes) from Rawal lake and 9km (17 minutes) from Chak Shahzad. Frash Town is a Capital Development Authority approved model urban shelter scheme. As of 2011 there were approximately 2,000 homes in the town. Despite the fact that the scheme is one of the CDA's "model villages" it resembles a typical unplanned settlement with nominal municipal facilities.

Malpur Village, Islamabad
Malpur is one of the oldest village in Islamabad located off the Murree Road with views of Margalla Hills and Rawal Lake. In 2009 Capital Development Authority announced that it plans to make Malpur a model village. The project would also accommodate the local residents of the area in a planned and well-organized manner. Capital Development Authority announced as well that a big piece of land in Malpur was in the control of the Ministry of Environment, where a forestry park would be developed.
Bhoja Air Flight 213
Bhoja Air Flight 213 (B4-213) was a domestic scheduled passenger flight operated by the Pakistani airline Bhoja Air. On 20 April 2012, the Boeing 737-236 aircraft, flying from Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, crashed in bad weather during its approach to Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad. All 121 passengers and 6 crew members aboard were killed in the crash. This was the inaugural flight of Bhoja Air's second daily service on this route.
