Quetta District

Quetta is a district in the north-west of Balochistan province of Pakistan. It was part of Quetta Division until the year 2000 when divisions were abolished. The district is famous for its agriculture produce, most notably fruit orchards but also including apples and grapes. The Hanna Valley is an area where almonds are grown. Aab-e-gum railway station

Aab-e-gum is a railway station in Balochistan, Pakistan. It is 50 kilometres south of Quetta near the Chilton mountain. The railway station was built by the British in 1886. The railway station is between Karachi and Quetta. Aab-e-gum (آب گم) is a Persian word and it means 'water lost', a name given to the spot for a spring that dives underground nearby.
