Al-Ghubra
Al Ghubra is a suburb of Muscat, the capital city of the Sultanate of Oman. It is a developing town with many malls, and hotels and many local businesses. There are a sizeable number of expatriates among the locals. The beach is a long expanse of sand dunes. There are many schools in this area, of many communities. The town is well planned and known for its lake park designed specially with a walk-path and children's play ground.
Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex
Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex also known locally as, Boshar, is a government owned multi-purpose stadium in the Boshar district of Muscat, Oman. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and also has facilities for athletics. The stadium originally had a capacity of over 40,000, but after recent renovations the capacity was reduced to 34,000 people. It is the home stadium of the Oman national football team.
Oman Natural History Museum
The Oman Natural History Museum is a natural history museum, located at the Ministry of Heritage and Culture complex, Al Khuwair, opposite the Zawawi Mosque in Muscat, Oman. The museum opened on 20 December 1985, and has detailed coverage of Oman's flora and fauna, with displays on indigenous mammals, insects, and birds and botanical gardens.
Oman Medical College
Oman Medical College is the second medical college in the Sultanate of Oman, and is situated in Sohar in the North Batinha region. The premedical campus is located in Bowsher. First year is taught as a foundation course and second and third years are completed in bowsher campus before the medical school years of sohar campus. Some part of the coursework is also completed in rustaq with students taking courses with doctors at Rustaq hospital.

The current Minister of Heritage and Culture is Haitham bin Tariq Al Said. MOHC has two undersecretaries, the current Undersecretary for Heritage Affairs is Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahruqi and the current Undersecretary for Cultural Affairs is Hamad bin Hilal Al Mamaari.
Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (Oman)
The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs (MARA) is the governmental body in the Sultanate of Oman responsible for overseeing all matters related to awqaf and religious affairs. The current Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs is Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Salmi, he was appointed as minister in the year 1997.
