Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park
The Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park (Kristiansand Dyrepark) is a Zoological garden and amusement park situated 11 km east of Kristiansand, Norway. It is Norway's most frequently visited attraction, covering an area of 150 acres . Animals include wolves, lynxes, wolverines, tigers, lions, chimpanzees, mooses, zebras, and orangutans.
University of Agder
University of Agder (Norwegian: Universitetet i Agder) is a public university with campuses in Kristiansand and Grimstad, Norway. The institution was established as a university college in 1994 with the merger of six colleges and was granted its current status as a university in 2007, but its academic activity dates as far back as 1839.

Tovdalselva
Tovdalselva or Topdalselva is 143 kilometres long and is one of the longest rivers in Southern Norway. The river flows from the northeast to the southwest and reaches the sea at the Topdalsfjorden between Hamresanden and Kjevik. The upper reaches of the river include many lakes such as the Herefossfjorden and the Straumsfjorden (the largest lake on the river). It drains about 1,800 square kilometres in territory and the highest point is 1,101 metres above sea level.
Otra
The Otra river is the largest river in the Sørlandet region of Norway. It flows from the Setesdalsheiene mountains in Bykle municipality in Aust-Agder county in the north, down to the municipality of Kristiansand in the south, where it flows into the Skagerrak. The Otra is 245 kilometres long, making it Norway’s eighth longest river. There are many large lakes along the river including: Åraksfjorden, Byglandsfjorden, Hartevatnet, and Kilefjorden.
Justvik
Justvik (also called Gjusvik) is a village in the municipality of Kristiansand, Norway. Its population (as of January 2012) is 1,803. Justvik is located to the West of Topdalsfjorden. Before municipal amalgamation with Kristiansand in 1965, Justvik was considered part of the Tveit municipality, while nearby areas Justnes and Eidsbukta belonged to Oddernes municipality.

Kristiansand Stadion
Kristiansand stadion is a multi-use stadium in Kristiansand, Norway. The stadium holds 16,600 people. It was mostly used for football matches and was the home ground of I.K. Start. In 2007 Sør Arena replaced Kristiansand stadion as home ground. The venue hosted Norway national under-21 football team matches twice, the first home game ever, losing 1–2 against Sweden on 31 May 1969 and winning 3–1 over Hungary on 9 October 1990.
Birkeland, Aust-Agder
Birkeland is the administrative centre of the municipality of Birkenes in Aust-Agder, Norway. Its population (2009) is 2,426, and the village area covers 2.18 square kilometres . The village is located on Norwegian national road 41, about 30 kilometres northeast of Kristiansand and 14 kilometres northwest of Lillesand. The river Tovdalselva flows through the village. The old Lillesand–Flaksvand Line was a railway line that passed through Birkeland.
Kristiansand Cathedral School
Kristiansand katedralskole (the Cathedral School of Kristiansand), known in Latin as Schola Christiansandensis, is a high school in Kristiansand, Vest-Agder, Norway. It is the oldest high school on the southern coast of Norway, having been founded in 1686. Originally, the school was located near the cathedral in the center of the town of Kristiansand.
Christiansholm Fortress
Christiansholm Fortress (Christiansholm festning) was a Norwegian fortress built to defend the city of Kristiansand. The fortress was finished in 1672 and formed a part of King Christian IV's plan for defense of Kristiansand when the city was founded in 1641. The architect of the fortress was quartermaster general Willem Coucheron. It was built on an islet, about 100 yards from shore. Today the fortress is connected to the mainland.
Sør Arena
Sør Arena ("South Arena") is a football stadium located at Torsvika in Kristiansand, Norway. The all-seater has a capacity of 14,563 people, and serves as the home ground of Tippeligaen side IK Start. It was designed by Kjell Kosberg, and is architecturally similar to Aker Stadion. The venue has seen concerts by Elton John, Dolly Parton and A-ha, among others. The name derives from a sponsorship agreement with Sparebanken Sør.
Sørlandssenteret
Sørlandssenteret is the largest shopping centre in the southern Norwegian region of Sørlandet, with a turnover of 971 million Norwegian kroner in 2002. It lies 12 km east of Kristiansand, close to the popular Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park. Sørlandssenteret was built in 1987, and was remodeled and expanded in 1995. It is now 26,065 m² and holds 100 stores. In 2005 the centre had 3,6 million visitors.
Vennesla Station
Vennesla Station is a railway station located at Vennesla, Norway on the Sørlandet Line. The station is served by express trains operated by the Norwegian State Railways to Oslo and Kristiansand.
New Varodd Bridge
The New Varodd Bridge is a cantilever road bridge that spans the Topdalsfjord in the city of Kristiansand, Norway. It carries the westbound lanes of European route E18; the eastbound lanes are carried by the adjacent Old Varodd Bridge. The length of the bridge is 663 metres, with 4 spans, of which the longest is 260 metres.

Flaksvatn
Flaksvatn, formerly Flaksvand, is a village in Birkenes, Norway. Located just north of Birkeland on the lake Flakksvann, the village was from 1896 to 1953 the terminus of the Lillesand–Flaksvand Line.
Cardamom Town (theme park)
Cardamom Town is a theme park located within the Kristiansand Zoo, made after the popular Norwegian children's book When the Robbers Came to Cardamom Town by Thorbjørn Egner. The theme park, which opened in 1991, was made to look exactly like it looks in the original illustrations in the book. Thorbjørn Egner got to see the theme park while it was under construction, but did not live long enough to see it completed. The theme park comprises 33 houses, eight of which are rental properties.

Vest-Agder Museum Kristiansand
Vest-Agder Museum Kristiansand (formerly Vest-Agder Fylkesmuseum) was founded in 1903 and is located in Kristiansand, Norway. The museum consists of a main building with collections and 40 old buildings, grouped by where they previously stood. Setesdaltunet consists of buildings from Valle and Bykle in Aust-Agder County, containing houses for living, stabbur, sauna and barns. The oldest buildings date from the middle of the 17th century.
Agder Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden
Agder Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden is the only natural history museum on the Southern Coast of Norway, located in Kristiansand in Vest-Agder County. The museum was founded in 1828 as part of Kristiansand Katedralskole, named Kristiansand Museum.
Sørlandets Art Museum
Sørlandet's Museum of Art is located in Kristiansand, Norway in the building that until 1970 hosted Kristiansand Katedralskole. The museum is a foundation, and it was created in 1995, with the counties of Aust-Agder and Vest-Agder as initiators together with the municipality of Kristiansand and Christianssands Billedalleri. The museum is working with both art and crafts.
Vollevannet
Vollevannet is a freshwater lake in Kristiansand, between Gimlekollen and exit from the E18 to the Vest-Agder Museum Kristiansand and Ålefjær (county road 452) in Vest-Agder county, Norway. Vollevannet was earlier used as drinking water, and is held back by two dams. It is a strain of perch in the lake. On the north side is a small, sandy beach.
Odderøya
Odderøya is an island off Kristiansand, Norway, connected to the mainland by bridges south of the city. The island creates a natural division between Eastern and Western Port of Kristiansand. The canal Gravanekanalen separates Odderøya from the city center and Fiskebrygga (the fish market), but four bridges ensure that the island is easily accessible. The island is until now, mostly undeveloped, but in the town development plan is also added an area to allow for up to 500 homes.
Kvåsefjorden
Kvåsefjorden is an aprox. 8 kilometres long fjord which forms the outer county boundary between Aust-Agder and Vest-Agder, Norway. It also forms part of the border between the municipalities of Lillesand and Kristiansand. Fjord inlet of the Skagerrak is at Meholmen near Ulvøysund, which is considered as the western starting point of Blindleia. Blindleia is the inner shipping route along the coast of Lillesand and runs mainly north and inland.
