Skålevik
Skålevik is a place on the northern part of the island Flekkerøy in the municipality of Kristiansand, Norway. Its population (2005) is 2,599.
Flekkerøy
Flekkerøy is an island situated outside the town of Kristiansand, part of Kristiansand municipality. Since 1989 it is connected to the mainland through a 2320 meter long tunnel. It has 2,632 inhabitants (1 January 2005).

Fredriksholm Fortress
Fredriksholm Fortress is situated on an islet off Kristiansand, Norway, one kilometer north of the precursor, Christiansø Fortress. Both fortresses were built to protect Flekkerøy port. The work of Frederiksholm Fortress was begun in 1655. After the fort was abandoned Christiansø 1 May 1658, the stone, building materials and useful material were transferred to Fredriksholm. The fortress was completed in 1662. It is named after Frederick III of Denmark.
Vågsbygd
Vågsbygd is the largest borough of Kristiansand in Norway with approx. 22 000 inhabitants. Until 1965, Vågsbygd was a part of Oddernes municipality. The district extends south and west of the city center of Kristiansand. From Møvig in Vågsbygd are good views of the to Fredriksholm Fortress and on to Flekkerøy, which is often not considered as parts of Vågsbygd. On Kroodden in Vågsbygd is Kristiansand Cannon Museum, an authentic fortress from World War II.
Bragdøya
Bragdøya is an island in Kristiansand Fjord in Kristiansand municipality in Southern Norway. The island is owned by the municipality of Kristiansand who bought it in 1969 with a government grant. This with the proviso that the islands would be a recreation of the city. It has for centuries been inhabitors Bragdøya. "Siffuord Bragdøen" is mentioned in written sources as owner from 1610 and onwards. The first manor house in Kristiansand was built in Bragdøya around 1770.
