Gamle Stavanger
Gamle Stavanger ('Old Stavanger') is an area of the city of Stavanger in the county of Rogaland, Norway which consists of 173 wooden houses that was built in the 18th century and in the beginning of the 19th century. The area includes the Norwegian Canning museum which displays a typical factory from the 1920s. In the years after World War II, a new city plan was created for Stavanger.

Battle of Hafrsfjord
The Battle of Hafrsfjord has traditionally been regarded as the battle in which western Norway for the first time was unified under one monarch. The national monument of Haraldshaugen was raised in 1872, to commemorate the Battle of Hafrsfjord. In 1983, the monument and famous landmark of The Swords in the Rock was designed by Fritz Røed and raised at Hafrsfjord in memory of the battle.

Bekkefaret is a neighborhood in Hillevåg, Stavanger, Norway. This part of the city is the location of the hospital, and Kyststamveien. Sverd i fjell
Sverd i fjell (English: Swords in Mountain) is a commemorative monument located at the Hafrsfjord fjord, just outside the city of Stavanger in Norway. The monument was created by sculptor Fritz Røed from Bryne and was unveiled by king Olav V of Norway in 1983. Three very tall swords are planted into the rock of a small hill next to the fjord. They commemorate the historic Battle of Hafrsfjord that took place here in the year 872, when King Harald Fairhair gathered all of Norway under one crown.

Sørmarka Arena
Sørmarka Arena is an indoor multi-purpose ice rink located in Stavanger, Norway. It consists of a 400-meter speed skating rink, an ice hockey rink, six curling rinks, and a "penguin rink" for newbeginners. There is also a 17-meter tall climbing wall. It can seat 4,000 spectators. The venue was not designed to host concerts, but on 6 June 2010 a Whitney Houston concert was held with 13,000 spectators.
DNB Arena (Stavanger)
DNB Arena is an indoor ice hockey rink in Stavanger, Norway, and home to the GET-ligaen side Stavanger Oilers. Opened ahead of the 2012–13 season, the arena has a capacity for 4,500 spectators during ice hockey matches and 6,000 during concerts, including 36 executive boxes. The rink is unusual for Norway in that it has the National Hockey League rink size. The 16,500 square meters building is designed by Arkitektkontoret Jobb and is named for DNB, a Norwegian banking group.
Stavanger Peninsula
Stavanger Peninsula is a peninsula in Rogaland, Norway, on which is located the city of Stavanger, the peninsula's namesake, and the most populous parts of Greater Stavanger. The peninsula extends from a line between Ølberg, just south of Stavanger airport and Sola beach, and the harbour of Sandnes. It is delimited by the fjords Gandsfjorden, Boknafjorden, Byfjorden and the North Sea.
