Hafrsfjord
Hafrsfjord is a fjord or bay located in the municipalities of Stavanger and Sola in Norway. Stretching 9 kilometres. Hafrsfjord fjord is bounded by Tananger, Sola and Madla. The only bridge over the fjord is Hafrsfjord bridge between Kvernevik in Stavanger and Jåsund in the village of Tananger in Stavanger. Hafrsfjord is also the name of a neighbourhood (delområde) in the borough Madla in Stavanger. It has a population of 4,003, distributed on an area of 5.78 km².
University of Stavanger
The University of Stavanger (UiS) is a university located in Stavanger, Norway and established in 2005. It has about 9 000 students and 1200 administration, faculty and service staff. It is organised in three faculties, including two national centres of expertise and the Museum of Archaeology.
Battle of Hafrsfjord
The Battle of Hafrsfjord has traditionally been regarded as the battle in which western Norway for the first time was unified under one monarch. The national monument of Haraldshaugen was raised in 1872, to commemorate the Battle of Hafrsfjord. In 1983, the monument and famous landmark of The Swords in the Rock was designed by Fritz Røed and raised at Hafrsfjord in memory of the battle.
Flyhistorisk Museum, Sola
Flyhistorisk Museum, Sola (Sola Aviation Museum) is an aviation museum located in Stavanger Airport, Sola, near Stavanger, Norway. The museum was founded in 1984, and is run by local volunteers. Flyhistorisk Museum, Sola went into cooperation with Jærmuseet in January 2012. The museum is currently housed in an old aircraft hangar at the former seaplane base at Stavanger Airport, built by German labour during World War II.

Sverd i fjell
Sverd i fjell (English: Swords in Mountain) is a commemorative monument located at the Hafrsfjord fjord, just outside the city of Stavanger in Norway. The monument was created by sculptor Fritz Røed from Bryne and was unveiled by king Olav V of Norway in 1983. Three very tall swords are planted into the rock of a small hill next to the fjord. They commemorate the historic Battle of Hafrsfjord that took place here in the year 872, when King Harald Fairhair gathered all of Norway under one crown.

Ytraberget
Ytraberget is a peninsula in Hafrsfjord in Sola Kommune, Norway. Ytraberget is connected to Indraberget, and it divides Sørnesvågen and Grannesvågen. Harald Fairhair (ca. 865-ca. 933) fought the Battle of Hafrsfjord in 872 AD. In the Saga by Snorre a little isle is mentioned as the location where Kjotve the Rich fled. The little isle is held to be Ytraberget, although it is now connected by a low isthmus of some 2 meters in elevation to Indraberget.

Kolnes is a mainly residential area located on the mainland part of the Karmøy municipality in Norway. It is located on the west side of the Førre fjord, south of the Førre community. Kolnes has experienced rapid growth. Between 1970 and 2013 the population has increased by 87%. The municipality is planning further growth in the area by opening up 1700 sites for residential housing that is expected to increase the population from 1500 to 4500 between 2012 and 2027.

It is part of European Road 39 and the Rennesøy Fixed Link. The tunnel had an average daily traffic of 8042 vehicles in 2010.

DNB Arena (Stavanger)
DNB Arena is an indoor ice hockey rink in Stavanger, Norway, and home to the GET-ligaen side Stavanger Oilers. Opened ahead of the 2012–13 season, the arena has a capacity for 4,500 spectators during ice hockey matches and 6,000 during concerts, including 36 executive boxes. The rink is unusual for Norway in that it has the National Hockey League rink size. The 16,500 square meters building is designed by Arkitektkontoret Jobb and is named for DNB, a Norwegian banking group.
Stavanger Peninsula
Stavanger Peninsula is a peninsula in Rogaland, Norway, on which is located the city of Stavanger, the peninsula's namesake, and the most populous parts of Greater Stavanger. The peninsula extends from a line between Ølberg, just south of Stavanger airport and Sola beach, and the harbour of Sandnes. It is delimited by the fjords Gandsfjorden, Boknafjorden, Byfjorden and the North Sea.
