Stavanger Cathedral
Stavanger Cathedral (Stavanger domkirke) is Norway's oldest cathedral. It is situated in the middle of Stavanger, and is the seat of the Diocese of Stavanger.
Viking Stadion
Viking Stadion is a football stadium, built at Jåttåvågen, in Stavanger, Norway. It was inaugurated in May 2004 and cost 160 million NOK to build (€ 20 million). 50 million NOK, plus the lot it was built on, was a gift from the municipality. It replaced Stavanger Stadion as the home stadium for Viking FK. Among the persons present at the official opening match were the coach of the Norwegian national football team Åge Hareide, Norwegian Idol winner Kjartan Salvesen and Kjell Inge Røkke.
Bekkefaret
Bekkefaret is a neighborhood in Hillevåg, Stavanger, Norway. This part of the city is the location of the hospital, and Kyststamveien. The European route E39 from Trondheim to Aalborg runs through here. There are two schools in Bekkefaret (Auglend and Ullandhaug), and sports clubs SK Jarl and Stavanger IF are vital parts of the local community. Stavanger Stadion
Stavanger Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Stavanger, Norway. It was used mostly for football matches and hosted the home matches of Viking FK. The stadium opened on 13 August 1917, and was able to hold 17,555 people at the end of its life as Viking's home ground. The west stand was the largest single-tier spectator stand in the country. The other stands were small roofless terraces without seating.

Sørmarka Arena
Sørmarka Arena is an indoor multi-purpose ice rink located in Stavanger, Norway. It consists of a 400-meter speed skating rink, an ice hockey rink, six curling rinks, and a "penguin rink" for newbeginners. There is also a 17-meter tall climbing wall. It can seat 4,000 spectators. The venue was not designed to host concerts, but on 6 June 2010 a Whitney Houston concert was held with 13,000 spectators.
