Kvadrat (shopping centre)
Kvadrat is one of the largest shopping centres in Norway both by revenue and number of shops. The shopping centre is situated near Stavanger, Norway. Kvadrat Storsenter was opened in 1984 and contains 160 stores in several connected buildings totalling 84 912 m².
Gandsfjord
Gandsfjord is a fjord in Rogaland, Norway. Gandsfjord is an arm of Boknafjorden which is adjacent to the cities Stavanger and Sandnes. The entire west side of Gandsfjord is highly developed. The east side of the fjord has many mountains and peaks. In the outer parts of the fjord there are several islands.
Viking Stadion
Viking Stadion is a football stadium, built at Jåttåvågen, in Stavanger, Norway. It was inaugurated in May 2004 and cost 160 million NOK to build (€ 20 million). 50 million NOK, plus the lot it was built on, was a gift from the municipality. It replaced Stavanger Stadion as the home stadium for Viking FK. Among the persons present at the official opening match were the coach of the Norwegian national football team Åge Hareide, Norwegian Idol winner Kjartan Salvesen and Kjell Inge Røkke.
Joint Warfare Centre
The Joint Warfare Centre (JWC) is a NATO establishment headquartered in Stavanger, Norway. It was established at Jåttå on 23 October 2003. The purpose of this was to have a command with responsibility for training and exercise of the NATO headquarters. The old Joint Headquarters North (JHQ NORTH) was abolished and command transferred to the Allied Command Transformation (ACT) in Norfolk, Virginia, USA
Stavanger Stadion
Stavanger Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Stavanger, Norway. It was used mostly for football matches and hosted the home matches of Viking FK. The stadium opened on 13 August 1917, and was able to hold 17,555 people at the end of its life as Viking's home ground. The west stand was the largest single-tier spectator stand in the country. The other stands were small roofless terraces without seating.
Jåttå Upper Secondary School
Jåttå Upper Secondary School (Norwegian: Jåttå videregående skole) is an upper secondary school in Stavanger, Norway, with 1000 pupils. It was opened for the 2007-08 semester. It is the only school in Rogaland with a "built-in" train station; the trainstation Jåttavågen is located just outside the schoolyard of the school.

Located 7.2 kilometres from Stavanger Station, it is served by the Jæren Commuter Rail operated by the Norwegian State Railways by up to four hourly trains in each direction. The station is located along the double track section of the Sørland Line, and was opened on 8 January 2009, replacing Jåttå Station. The station is within a minute's walk of Viking Stadion and Jåttå Upper Secondary School.
Mariero Station

Located 4.13 kilometres from Stavanger Station, it is served by the Jæren Commuter Rail operated by the Norwegian State Railways by up to four hourly trains in each direction. The station is located along the double track section of the Sørland Line, and was opened on 16 November 2009. It is co-located with a Kolumbus bus stop, allowing transfer to many routes.
Jåttå Station
Jåttå Station is a railway station located at Jåttå in Stavanger, Norway. The station is served by the Jæren Commuter Rail between Stavanger and Egersund. The station is 6.5 kilometres south of Stavanger and was used as an extra stop for trains when there were football games at Viking Stadion.
Stavanger Airport, Forus
Stavanger Airport, Forus (Norwegian: Stavanger lufthavn, Forus) is a closed military airport located in the Forus area, in the municipalities Stavanger, Sola and Sandnes. It was built for Luftwaffe by the German occupational forces during World War II, on farm land cultivated at the site of the former lake Stokkavatnet. The airport was later used as a heliport, Forus Heliport, until it was closed in 1989. The area has later been developed for industry.
Sandnes Idrettspark
Sandnes Idrettspark is a multi-purpose stadium in Sandnes, Rogaland, Norway. It is currently used mostly for track and field meets and football matches, and is the home ground of Sandnes Ulf. The stadium's capacity is 3850 (2260 seats). The venue hosted the Norwegian Athletics Championships in 1986, 2002 and 2010. In August 2009, a new floodlight system with a capacity of 1,400 lux was installed.
Stokka
Stokka is a suburb of Lura, Sandnes, Norway. Stokka is bordered on the south by Bærheim and Soma, to the east by Lura, to the north by Forus, Stavanger, and to the west by Sola municipality. Large parts of the area are industrialised, with the area north of Løwenstrasse used as the headquarters of Forus Næringspark. Stokka is linked to the north with the Forus canal, to the east by E39, to the south to Soma and to the west with Sola.

The British International School of Stavanger is an international school in Stavanger, Norway. It was founded in 1977. It currently serves around 500 pupils from over 48 different nationalities. It caters to pupils from 18 months of age up to the age of 16. The school programme is divided into 3 sections which allow the students to expand their knowledge and thinking in many ways. The Principal is Anne Howells, and there are 22 full-time staff.

Forus
Forus is an industrial district in the borough Hinna in Stavanger, Norway. It borders to the Gandsfjord and stretches south and west to the municipalities Sandnes and Sola. The name Forus originates from a farm, part of which is currently used for harness racing. The drainage of the former Stokkavatnet (4 km²) with surrounding march area, from 1906 and onwards, gave 4.5 km² new land for the nearby farms.
Gausel Station
Gausel Station is a railway station located at Gausel in Stavanger, Norway. Located 9 kilometers from Stavanger Station, it is served by the Jæren Commuter Rail operated by the Norwegian State Railways by up to four hourly trains in each direction. The station is located along the double track section of the Sørlandet Line. The original station at Gausel was opened in 1902, and the station building was completed in 1908. This station was closed in 1966.
Stokkavatnet (Forus)
Stokkavatnet is a former lake that was located at Forus in Stavanger, Norway, between the two fjords Hafrsfjord and Gandsfjord. The lake was among the largest at the Northern Jæren district, with an area of about 4 km². It was surrounded by considerable areas of marsh land, and was known for a rich birdlife. The lake drained to Gandsfjord, and the outlet supplied six mills located near the fjord.
Godeset
Godeset is a suburb of Stavanger municipality in Rogaland where one can find a number of small and service industries. Godeset skole and Gautesete skole are the schools in Godeset. Godeset was an agricultural area until around 1985. The Godeset area stretches from Jåttånuten in the north and down to Statoil's headquarters at Forus in the south.
Sørmarka Arena
Sørmarka Arena is an indoor multi-purpose ice rink located in Stavanger, Norway. It consists of a 400-meter speed skating rink, an ice hockey rink, six curling rinks, and a "penguin rink" for newbeginners. There is also a 17-meter tall climbing wall. It can seat 4,000 spectators. The venue was not designed to host concerts, but on 6 June 2010 a Whitney Houston concert was held with 13,000 spectators.
Stavanger Peninsula
Stavanger Peninsula is a peninsula in Rogaland, Norway, on which is located the city of Stavanger, the peninsula's namesake, and the most populous parts of Greater Stavanger. The peninsula extends from a line between Ølberg, just south of Stavanger airport and Sola beach, and the harbour of Sandnes. It is delimited by the fjords Gandsfjorden, Boknafjorden, Byfjorden and the North Sea.
