Gamle Stavanger
Gamle Stavanger ('Old Stavanger') is an area of the city of Stavanger in the county of Rogaland, Norway which consists of 173 wooden houses that was built in the 18th century and in the beginning of the 19th century. The area includes the Norwegian Canning museum which displays a typical factory from the 1920s. In the years after World War II, a new city plan was created for Stavanger.
Stavanger Cathedral
Stavanger Cathedral (Stavanger domkirke) is Norway's oldest cathedral. It is situated in the middle of Stavanger, and is the seat of the Diocese of Stavanger.
Norwegian Petroleum Museum
The Norwegian Petroleum Museum was opened on 20 May 1999. In Norwegian language the museum is called Norsk Oljemuseum. The unusual architecture has made the museum a landmark in the Port of Stavanger. Seen from the sea the museum looks like a small oil platform. Stavanger City Bridge
Stavanger City Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with one tower that crosses Strømsteinsundet from the centre of Stavanger, Norway to Grasholmen and Sølyst in the borough Hundvåg. The bridge is 1067 metres long, the main span is 185 metres, and the maximum clearance to the sea is 26 metres. The bridge has 24 spans. Stavanger City Bridge was the first larger cable-stayed bridge in Norway. It was opened in 1978.

Bekkefaret is a neighborhood in Hillevåg, Stavanger, Norway. This part of the city is the location of the hospital, and Kyststamveien. The European route E39 from Trondheim to Aalborg runs through here. There are two schools in Bekkefaret (Auglend and Ullandhaug), and sports clubs SK Jarl and Stavanger IF are vital parts of the local community. This part of the city is also famous for its nature reserves Mosvannet, Vaalandsskogen and Ullandhaugskogen.

Sørmarka Arena
Sørmarka Arena is an indoor multi-purpose ice rink located in Stavanger, Norway. It consists of a 400-meter speed skating rink, an ice hockey rink, six curling rinks, and a "penguin rink" for newbeginners. There is also a 17-meter tall climbing wall. It can seat 4,000 spectators. The venue was not designed to host concerts, but on 6 June 2010 a Whitney Houston concert was held with 13,000 spectators.
