University Botanical Garden (Oslo)
The University Botanical Garden at Tøyen in Oslo is Norway's oldest botanical garden, established in 1814. It is administrated by the University of Oslo. The University of Oslo's oldest building, the Tøyen Manor which was given as a gift in 1812, is located in the garden. The garden originally covered 75,000 square metres, but has since doubled in size. The collection includes roughly 35,000 plants of about 7500 unique species.

Ensjø is mostly a commercial area, with a large number of car dealerships.

The square also has a bus stop for lines 20, 21, 31, 33 and 57. Located at Grünerløkka in Oslo, Norway, the area has a mixture of apartment buildings and small businesses. The station is the first metro station on the Grorud Line after it branches off from the shared Common Tunnel.

Tøyen is a rapid transit station located in the Common Tunnel of Oslo Metro in Norway. Located in the borough of Gamle Oslo, it is also called "Tøyen-Munchmuseet" due to its proximity to the art museum. It is the last station on the east side shared by all lines; the Grorud Line and Ring Line departs from the other four lines at Tøyen. The station has three platforms, on the south side is a platform for all outbound trains.

The station was opened in 1904. It is a small unmanned station which is only served by local trains by NSB Gjøvikbanen. It is 4.45 km from Oslo S. 1400 meters from the railway station is the subway station with the same name, located on the T-bane. There is no connection between the two stations.

Natural History Museum at the University of Oslo
The Natural History Museum at the University of Oslo (Norwegian: Naturhistorisk museum, NHM) is Norway's oldest and largest museum of natural history, situated in Oslo. It traces its roots to the University Botanical Garden, which was founded near Tøyen Manor in 1814. Museums for zoology, botany and geology were added approximately a hundred years later, when the university campus in central Oslo had become too small for such purposes.

Keyserløkka
Keyserløkka is a neighborhood in the borough of Grünerløkka in Oslo, Norway. It was originally farmland under Tøyen. In 1850 it was given to professor Rudolf Keyser. It was later sold to the municipality, and built up with larger buildings between 1949 and 1956.
Tøyenbadet
Tøyenbadet in Oslo is Norway's busiest indoor swimming facility. Situated in Helgesens Gate 90, it was designed by architect Gert Walter Thuesen. It was built in 1976 and contains indoor and outdoor swimming pools. It was closed for refurbishment in spring 2007 and reopened in autumn 2008, six months later than planned. Within months of this refurbishment the facility was experiencing water leakage problems.
Jordal
Jordal is a neighborhood in the borough of Gamle Oslo in Oslo, Norway. It is a small valley between Kampen and Vålerenga, and the farm Jordal was originally under Nedre Valle. The area was located in Aker until 1878, when it was incorporated into Kristiania (Oslo). It was known for the brickworks Jordal Teglverk, on the site now occupied by the Olympic ice hockey arena Jordal Amfi. The area is served by Ensjø station on the Oslo Metro.
Botsfengselet
Botsfengselet is a former national prison for long-term prisoners in Norway, located in Oslo. It was designed by architect Heinrich Ernst Schirmer and came into use from 1851. Its location is at the former Åkebergløkka, Grønlandsleiret 41. In 1970 Ullersmo Prison took over as a prison for long-term prisoners in Norway, while Botsfengselet was rehabilitated and served as a department of the district prison in Oslo from 1975. The prison is listed as a protected site.
Åkebergveien
Åkebergveien is a street in Oslo, Norway. The street is named after the former farm Åkeberg. Åkebergveien 11 formerly belonged to the brewery Ytteborgs Aktiebryggeri. In 1934 the building was acquired by the city of Oslo, and after rebuilding became part of the district prison of Oslo, currently department B of Oslo Prison. The prison is popularly called "Bayer'n", due to its history as a brewery.

Grønland Church (Oslo)

Church architect was Wilhelm von Hanno, that also designed the school, former fire station and former police station, together with the church is a unified group of buildings in Grønland, a district that recently (1859) had been incorporated into Christiania (the former name of the city of Oslo). Grønland Church was consecrated in 1868 and restored in 1988.
