Bjerke
Bjerke is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. The most densely populated residential areas are located along the Trondheimsveien, including the high-rise apartment blocks of Linderud. The shopping centre at Linderud is also home to the borough council's administration. The northern areas of the borough are bordered by the vast woodlands of Oslomarka. The upper secondary school Bjerke Videregående Skole is located here.
Grefsen
Grefsen is a neighbourhood of the city of Oslo, Norway. Together with Kjelsås, Grefsen was part of the borough Grefsen-Kjelsås until January 1, 2004, when they became part of the new borough of Nordre Aker. Grefsen and Kjelsås were also part of the former municipality of Aker before the Second World War, when the city of Oslo was confined to today's central areas. The railway line Gjøvikbanen goes through the area, but Grefsen Station is actually located closer to the neighbourhood of Disen.

Aker University Hospital was founded in 1895 in Oslo, Norway. From January 1, 2009, the hospital is part of the Oslo University Hospital. Since January 2002 the hospital is organized as a health trust that is fully owned by Southern and Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority and which also is responsible for the hospital budget.
Hasle (station)
Hasle is a station on the Oslo Metro system located in the Grünerløkka borough between Carl Berners plass and Økern. It is the first outdoor station on Grorud Line after the downtown tunnel. After completion the of the Ring Line in 2006, Hasle is the first station on the Grorud Line not shared with another line. There is a some residential housing in the vicinity, as well as some industry.
Linderud (station)
Linderud is a station on Grorud Line of the Oslo Metro located between Vollebekk and Veitvet in Norway. The station is located in the Bjerke borough. Linderud is a residential area, with several tall apartment buildings. The area has a modern shopping centre (formerly known as EPA Centre), located 400 meters from the station.
Tonsenhagen
Tonsenhagen is a place in the borough of Bjerke in northeast Oslo, Norway. Built in the 1950s, it was one of the early new suburbs within Oslo. Situated on a hillside with wonderful views of Oslo, surrounded by the Lilloe Forest and close to Grefsenkollen, the whole area has an idyllic setting at the fringe of the woods.
Veitvet (station)
Veitvet is a station on Grorud Line (Line 5) on the Oslo Metro. It lies between Linderud and Rødtvet, 8.4 kilometers from Stortinget. It was opened on 16 October 1966. Like much of the eastern subway network, the station is located in a largely residential area with apartment buildings. The station is located just north of the Veitvet Shopping Centre.
Vallhall Arena
Vallhall Arena is a multi-purpose indoor arena, located in Valle-Hovin, Oslo, Norway. The stadium has a capacity of 5,500 people, during matches. The Tippeligaen club Vålerenga uses the arena for training and friendly matches in the winter off-season. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The arena also serves as an event arena. The arena is also a well-known concert hall, with a capacity of 12,500 people. It's not far away from Valle Hovin, an outdoor concert arena.
Valle Hovin
Valle Hovin is both a bandy and speed skating rink in cold weather, and an outdoor stadium for concerts in warm weather, in Oslo, Norway. The Bandy World Championships has been held here. Located in the residential area Valle-Hovin, in amongst trees and a park, one finds Valle Hovin. It is reachable from the Lines 1, 2, 3, and 4 reaching the Helsfyr station of the Oslo T-bane metro system, and additionally via two bus lines as well as substantial parking for automobiles.
Økern (station)
Økern is a metro station on the No 5, Grorud Line of the Oslo Metro system, situated between stations Hasle and Risløkka in the lower parts of the Grorud Valley. It is located 2.7 km northeast of station Stortinget (the Parliament). The station is part of the original stretch of the Grorud Line, and was opened on 16 October 1966. In 2010, the station was refurbished and partly rebuilt. New platforms are fitted with snowmelt systems, i. e. heating cables in the uppermost layer.
Vollebekk (station)
Vollebekk is a station on Grorud Line (line 5) of the Oslo Metro. It is located between the stations of Risløkka and Linderud and is 7.1 kilometers from Stortinget. The station is among the original ones on Grorudbanen, and opened on 10 October 1966. Peer Qvaam was the station's architect. The local road Lunden passes under the station immediately north of the station. There is no major bus connection, although there is a bus stop on the Østre Aker Vei highway to the south.
Risløkka (station)
Risløkka is a station on Grorud Line (line 5) on the Oslo Metro. The station lies between Økern and Vollebekk and is situated 6.5 km from Stortinget. The station is among the original stations on the line and was opened ob 16 October 1966. Peer Qvam was the station's architect. The line bridges the local road Risløkkalleen immediately east of the station. To the north of the station is a largely residential area, with several detached houses.
Bjerke Upper Secondary School
Bjerke Upper Secondary School (Norwegian: Bjerke videregående skole) is an upper secondary school based in Groruddalen in Oslo, Norway. It offers general academics, media and communications, health care and elite sports. From 2009/10 it will also offer music, dance and drama. In 2000 the school changed its name from Linderud Upper Secondary School to Bjerke.
Alna Station
Alna railway station is a stop within Oslo, Norway on the Trunk Line which runs between Oslo Central Station and Lillestrøm. It is the second stop from Oslo S, between Bryn and Nyland, in Groruddalen, 6.87 km from Oslo S. On the east side of the station is the Alnabru train yard. Even though Hovedbanen is the oldest in Norway, the station was first opened in 1971. The station is unmanned.
Alnabru–Grefsen Line
The Alnabru–Grefsen Line is a 5-kilometre long Norwegian railway line between Alnabru Station and Grefsen Station in Oslo. The line was built in 1901 to allow trains to go directly from the Gjøvik Line to the Hoved Line or Alnabru Freight Terminal. There is little traffic left on the line, only about four to eight trains daily, and no passenger traffic.
Årvoll
Årvoll is a residential community located in the Bjerke district of Oslo, Norway. The community is named for the historic Årvoll Gård (farm), which still stands in the center of the community. This is also where anti-Nazi activists Viggo Hansteen and Rolf Wickstrøm were executed by the Germans on September 10, 1941. They were the first two Norwegians executed by the Nazis during the five-year occupation of Norway.
Peer Gynt Sculpture Park
Peer Gynt Sculpture Park (Peer Gynt-parken) is a sculpture park located in Oslo, Norway. The sculpture park was created in honour of the man who is perhaps Norway’s most internationally known writer, Henrik Ibsen and is a monumental presentation of one of his most famous plays Peer Gynt, act by act. The park was established in 2006 by Selvaag, the company behind the housing development in the Løren-area and most of the sculptures are the result of an international sculpture competition.

Linderud is a neighborhood in Bjerke borough, Oslo, Norway. The area originally formed part of the estate of Linderud Manor.
Alnaelva
Alnaelva, also known as Alna or the Alna River, is a river the runs through Oslo, Norway, from Alnsjøen to the Oslo Fjord at Bjørvika. It also drains Breisjøen, Steinbruvann, Tokerudbekken and Østensjøvannet. Large sections of the river run in culverts and the river is highly polluted, partially because it is used as a sewer drain.

Grefsenåsen
Grefsenåsen is a hill in Lillomarka in Oslo, Norway. The height is 377 meter. The view from the top is magnificent, and the hill has for a long time been a popular resort for day-trippers living in Oslo. A restaurant was built on the top in 1927, and this is still in use.
Teisen
Teisen is a neighborhood in the borough of Alna in Oslo, Norway. It was a residential area in the 19th century, but from the 1950s it was built up with apartment blocks.
Alnabru Station
Alnabru Station is a former rail station on the Trunk Line in eastern Oslo, Norway. Alnabru was opened in 1902. The station had passengers, but was mainly concerned with goods. The Alnabru–Grefsen Line opened in 1901 and Loenga–Alnabru Line opened in 1907, and a large goods terminal was opened at the station. In 1971, the Alnabru–Grefsen Line was closed as a mainline station, the Trunk Line instead went around the area, and a new station, Alna, opened outside it.
Alnabru
Alnabru is a neighbourhood of Oslo. It is located in the middle of the southern part of Groruddalen. The name Alnabru comes from the area around Alnaelva and the old estate Alna Gård. This has also given its name to the borough (no. bydel) of Alna where the neighbourhood of Alnabru is located. The neighbourhood is an industrial area best known for its goods terminal.
Valle-Hovin
Valle-Hovin is a neighborhood in Oslo, Norway, best known for the sports and music venue of the same name. It consists of two neighborhoods with unclear boundaries, Valle and Hovin. Valle was a farm under Nonneseter but was bought by privates in 1765; the farm Hovin was probably under Torshov, then under Oslo Cathedral before the Reformation. It was bought by privates in 1664. The farms Valle and Hovin were both bought by Oslo Municipality in 1915.
