Nordhordland Bridge
The Nordhordland Bridge is a combined cable-stayed and pontoon bridge which crosses Salhusfjorden between Klauvaneset and Flatøy in Hordaland, Norway. It is 1,614 meters long, of which the pontoon section is 1,246 meters long. The cable-stayed section consists of a single 99-meter tall H-pylon which has a length of 368 meters and a main span of 172 meters . This allows for a clearance of 32 meters .
Knarvik
Knarvik (or Knarrviki) is the administrative centre in the municipality of Lindås and the largest town in the region of Nordhordland, Norway. The E39 runs straight through the town dividing the town into two major parts.
Salhus, Hordaland
Salhus is an urban settlement in Åsane borough in Bergen municipality, Hordaland, Norway. Salhus comes from the old Norwegian word 'Sálúhusn' which means the place with an innkeeper, and it is possible that the name has a connection with the many 'Sálúhus' that King Øystein Magnusson had put up for the road travellers. Salhus is located approximately 10 miles North of Bergen centre and in order to get there you can follow county road 243 or Norwegian National Road 564.

The Hagelsund Bridge is a suspension bridge connecting the island of Flatøy with Knarvik, in Lindås municipality, Hordaland, Norway. The length of the bridge is 623 meters with the main span being 250 meters. It consists of 2 lanes with car traffic heading in opposite directions, and a walkway for pedestrians and bicycles.
Knarvik vidaregåande skule
Knarvik vidaregåande skule is a high school located on Knarvik in Lindås, 30 km north of Bergen in Norway. The school is one of the largest in Hordaland with over 950 pupils and ca. 150 employees. The school offers close connection to local industry where pupils attend a program called TAF that eventually leads to both craftmanship and a high school degree in 4 years.

Salhusfjorden
Salhusfjorden is a 4-kilometer long fjord and sound between Bergen and Meland in Hordaland, Norway. To the west, it starts between Salhus and Frekhaug, where Byfjorden meets Herdlefjorden. To the east, the fjord ends between Knarvik and Hordvikneset, where Osterfjorden runs northeast, while Sørfjorden runs southeast. The fjord is up to 500 meters deep. It acts as one of the borders between Midhordland to the south and Nordhordland to the north.

Klauvaneset is a peninsula in the northern part of Åsane in Bergen, Norway. It is the site of the southern part of the Nordhordland Bridge.
