Nidelva (Aust-Agder)
Nidelva in Aust-Agder is the main river in the Arendal drainage basin. It is formed by the confluence of two rivers, Nisserelva and Fyreselv. The river flows into the Skagerak at Arendal. The total length of the system is 210 kilometres, the watershed covers 4,000 square kilometres . Sixteen hydro-electric power stations are built along the river, making this one of Norway's most controlled drainage systems.
Kongshamn
Kongshavn or Kongshamn is a community in the municipality of Arendal in Aust-Agder county, Norway. Its population (2009) is 862. Kongshavn is located on the north side of Tromøy island, across the Tromøysundet from Eydehavn. It is about 11 kilometres east of the city of Arendal. It is said that Kongshamn was a safe haven for king's ships during the Viking Age.
Kilsund
Kilsund is a village in the municipality of Arendal in Aust-Agder county, Norway. It is located on the island Tverrdalsøya. Its population (2009) is 729. The village is located just north of Flosta island. It is about 6.5 kilometres northeast of Strengereid, 10 kilometres northeast of Eydehavn, 16 kilometres northeast of the city of Arendal, and 8 kilometres south of the city of Tvedestrand.
Strengereid
Strengereid is a village in the municipality of Arendal in Aust-Agder county, Norway. It is located 3 kilometres northeast of Eydehavn and just west of the island of Flosta. Originally, Strengereid was part of the municipality of Tvedestrand, but on 1 January 1962, the Strengereid area was merged with the neighboring municipalities of Flosta (west), Stokken (south), and Austre Moland (north-west) to form the new municipality of Moland. At that time Strengereid had 375 inhabitants.
SS Martti Ragnar (1934)
SS Martti Ragnar was a Finnish steam freighter own by Ragnar Nordström and named after his son Martti-Ragnar Nordström. In 1939, while carrying a cargo of cellulose, sulfite and woodpulp from Kemi to Ellesmere Port in England, she was sunk by U-4 on 22 September in Skagerrak.
Eydehavn
Eydehavn is a village area in the municipality of Arendal in Aust-Agder county, Norway. The population of the village area (2001) is about 4,080 people. It is the former administrative centre of both Moland and Stokken municipalities. Both municipalities have since been incorporated into Arendal. The village is located about 10 kilometres northeast of the city centre of Arendal, about 2 kilometres south of Strengereid, and just across the Tromøysundet from Kongshamn.
Arendal Station
Arendal Station is the terminus railway station of the Arendal Line, located in Arendal, Norway. The station opened on 23 November 1908 and is served by the Norwegian State Railways.
Tromøy Bridge
Tromøy Bridge (Tromøybrua) is a suspension bridge that crosses Tromøysundet east of Arendal in Norway, connecting the island Tromøy with the mainland. The bridge is part of Norwegian National Road 409. Opened in 1961, it has a length of 400 metres and 12 spans. The longest span is 240 metres and ships up to 35 metres may pass under it. Its building was prepared by a special committee, chaired by Christian Stray during its entire existence from 1938 to 1961.

Torbjørnsbu Station
Torbjørnsbu Station is a former railway station at Torbjørnsbu in Arendal, Norway. Located on the Arendal Line, it was operated by the Norwegian State Railways. The station was opened on 1 May 1911 and originally consisted of a station building and a loading spur. The station remained manned until 1939 and was later closed.
Trinity Church (Arendal)
Trinity Church, full name Church of Holy Trinity, is the parish church of Trinity parish located in Arendal, Norway. The church is a cruciform church basilicas in neo-Gothic style with short cross arms and 1,200 seats. It is the third church in Arendal, and all had the same name. Plans to build the present church was adopted by the Arendal town council in 1883. The foundation stone was laid down 7 August 1885, and 29 June 1888 the church was consecrated.
Arendalsfeltet
Arendalsfeltet is a geologic province in Norway, between Fevik and Tvedestrand in the county of Aust-Agder, mainly situated within the borders of Arendal. Arendalsfeltet is especially known for its deposits of iron ore. The first extraction of iron ore from Arendalsfeltet was in around 1585 and mining continued until 1975. The iron ore was of high quality and was much in demand from the old Norwegian iron works, around 2/3 of the iron ore they used came from Arendalsfeltet.
