Vebjørn Sand Da Vinci Project
The Leonardo Bridge Project headed by Norwegian painter and artist Vebjørn Sand is one of several installations that Sand is known for in Norway. It’s a smaller-scale version of a 240 m span that Leonardo da Vinci proposed in 1502 as part of a civil engineering project for Sultan Bayezid II of Constantinople. The bridge serves as a pedestrian crossing over European route E18 in Ås, Norway. It was produced by The Leonardo Bridge Project as one of their non-profit public art projects.

Tusenfryd
Tusenfryd (lit. "Thousand Joys", also common daisy) is an amusement park at Vinterbro, Norway. The park is located 20 kilometers south of Oslo. Two of the longest motorway corridors in Norway, E6 and E18, meet nearby Tusenfryd and the park is located on the west side near where they meet. SpeedMonster, SuperSplash, ThunderCoaster and SpaceShot make the park visible from the motorway. The park was officially opened on 11 June 1988, after a construction period of 18 months.
Hauketo Station
Hauketo Station is a railway station at Nordstrand in Oslo, Norway. Located on the Østfold Line, it is served by the Oslo Commuter Rail line 500, operated by Norges Statsbaner with two hourly services. The station was opened in 1925.
Vinterbro
Vinterbro is a village in the municipality of Ås, Akershus, Norway. It has 3,000 residents in the subdivisions Togrenda and Sjøskogen. The area features two primary schools and four kindergartens. The is the location of a large shopping area, including a Steen & Strøm shopping center. The amusement park Tusenfryd and part of the Oslo Tramway Museum is also located at Vinterbro. European Route E6 and E18 run past the area. Part of the E6 was financed by Oslo Package 1.
Årungen
Årungen is a lake in Norway in the municipality of Ås about 18 miles south of Oslo which is notable for being an environment containing microscopic creatures called collodictyons. Norwegian scientists have been studying the creatures for two decades and speculate that they may be one of the oldest known organisms, and may provide clues about the origins of life. One kilometre south of the lake lies the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
