Nayland College
Nayland College is a coeducational secondary school which is located in Stoke, Nelson, New Zealand. It is one of two secondary schools in Nelson which are coeducational. Notable features of the college include its well-regarded student produced newspaper and biennial musical productions. The school was officially opened on February 3, 1966.
McCashins Brewery
McCashin's Brewery is a microbrewery based in Nelson, New Zealand. It was founded in 1981 by former All Black and farmer Terry McCashin. Terry has been credited with starting the micro-brewery renaissance in New Zealand. Prior to opening McCashin's Brewery in 1981 there were only two breweries in New Zealand: New Zealand Breweries and Dominion Breweries. Today, Nelson alone has 11 breweries. Saxton Oval (also known as Saxton Field) is a cricket ground in Nelson, Nelson Region, New Zealand. Constructed by the Nelson Cricket Association following their move from Trafalgar Park, it was constructed at a cost of $3.8 million. The Oval is part of a wider sports complex which also offers athletics, association football, field hockey and softball facilities. The ground was first used by Central Districts in a Twenty20 match in the 2009–10 HRV Cup against Canterbury.
