Hastings, New Zealand
The city of Hastings is a major urban settlement in the Hawke's Bay region of the North Island of New Zealand, and it is the largest settlement by population in Hawke's Bay. Hastings city is the administrative centre of the Hastings District. Hastings is located some 20 km inland from the neighbouring port city of Napier.
Havelock North
Havelock North is a suburb in Hastings, New Zealand, in the North Island's Hawke's Bay region. It ranked as a borough for many years until the 1989 reorganisation of local government saw it merged into the new Hastings District.
Clive, New Zealand
The small town of Clive is located ten kilometres south of Napier in the Hawke's Bay Region of New Zealand's North Island. It is close to the mouth of the Ngaruroro River.
Flaxmere
Flaxmere is a suburb in the Hawke's Bay region of New Zealand's North Island. It is located North-west to Hastings, and is regarded as a suburb of its larger neighbor. It had a (2010) population of 10,400 according to the Hastings Council. It is located in the Hastings Metropolitan Area. It is also known by the Maori name of Paharakeke. Taradale, New Zealand
Taradale is a suburb of Napier, in the Hawke's Bay region of the North Island of New Zealand, and was once a town in its own right. It is located 10 kilometres southwest of the centre of Napier, and is also known as the Taradale and Greenmeadows area. It is the home to some of Hawke's Bay's finest vineyards. The population was 16,599 in the 2006 Census, an increase of 972 from 2001.
Havelock North High School
Havelock North High School (usually abbreviated HNHS) is a co-ed secondary school in Havelock North, New Zealand. HNHS is host to a number of international full-fee paying students. HNHS has a head boy and head girl chosen by the Form 7 (Year 13) students at the start of the year as well as the secretary. HNHS is split into four houses which compete against each other during the year in events such as a swimming sports, an athletics event and house choir.
Napier-Hastings Urban Area
The Napier-Hastings Urban Area is a New Zealand urban area that covers the twin cities of Napier and Hastings. It is the fifth largest urban area in the country with a population of over 131,000. This is closely followed by Tauranga (116,000), and Dunedin (118,900). While the two cities remain separated by 10 km of rural land, there is sufficient economic and social integration between the cities for Statistics New Zealand to aggregate them into a single unit.

Bridge Pā is a rural Māori settlement and surrounding area in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand, located approximately 10 kilometres inland from Hastings. The pā itself comprises approximately 70 households, a school, a meetinghouse of the LDS Church, two marae (Korongata Marae and Mangaroa Marae), a cemetery and a disused quarry. The surrounding area includes Hastings Aerodrome, two golf clubs, a car club, and a Deer Stalkers hall.
Hereworth School
Hereworth School is one of only seven private boys' school in New Zealand which caters for boarding and day pupils. It was established in 1927 by the amalgamation of Heretaunga School Hastings (New Zealand) and Hurworth School. Lindisfarne College, New Zealand
Lindisfarne College was established in Hastings, New Zealand in 1953 by the Herrick Family. The land was gifted by the Herricks and the school begun with a modest roll of 33 students however its roll has rapidly increased and in 2011 has over 500 students currently attending the college. The school caters for Form 1 (Year 7) to Form 7 (Year 13). Its sister school, Iona College, is situated in nearby Havelock North.

Pettigrew Green Arena
Pettigrew Green Arena is a multi-purpose indoor sports and entertainment centre in Taradale near Napier, New Zealand. The centre opened in April 2003, and regularly hosts volleyball, basketball and netball matches for Hawke's Bay representative teams. The main court has a capacity of 2,500. The centre hosted an ANZ Championship match for the Central Pulse against the Adelaide Thunderbirds in Round 14 of the 2008 season.
Eastern Institute of Technology
The Eastern Institute of Technology is a public Tertiary Education Institution in both the Hawke's Bay Region and Gisborne Region of New Zealand. It is also referred to as EIT Hawke's Bay, EIT Tairāwhiti or simply EIT. EIT serves as the main regional higher education centre for Hawke's Bay and the Gisborne areas.
St John's College, Hastings
St John's College is a State Integrated, Catholic, Day School for boys, located in Hastings, a provincial city in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Founded in 1941 by the Marist Fathers, St John's College has a non-selective enrolment policy (although gives preference to students from Catholic families) and currently caters for approximately 450 students from Year 9 (3rd Form) to Year 13 (7th Form). St John's College has a diverse, multicultural roll.
Hastings Boys' High School
Hastings Boys' High School is a boys' secondary school in Hastings, New Zealand. The school is part of the Super 8. The school was founded in 1904 as Hastings High School. Fifty years later, it split into Hastings Girls' School and Hastings Boys' School. It has four Houses, Te Mata (red), Heretaunga (blue), Te Kahu (grey) and Mana Huia (black). These houses compete in many sporting events with each other throughout the year.

Iona College (Havelock North)
Iona College is a state-integrated girls' school in the Hawke's Bay area of New Zealand's North Island. Founded in 1914 by the Presbyterian Church, it was intended to provide boarding facilities for girls from rural communities. Today, the college has a capped roll of 250 New Zealand and international students – 150 boarders and 100 day girls. Iona is consistently ranked amongst the top schools in New Zealand for academic results.
Nelson Cricket Ground
Nelson Cricket Ground was a cricket ground in Hastings, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. The first recorded match held on the ground came in January 1878 when Hawke's Bay played the touring Australians. The ground held its first first-class match in 1914 when Hawke's Bay played Wellington. Two further first-class matches were held there, one further in 1914 which saw Hawke's Bay play the touring Australians and in 1915 when Hawke's Bay played Canterbury in the 1914/15 Plunket Shield.
Farndon Park
Farndon Park was a cricket ground in Clive, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. Hawke's Bay played four first-class matches at Farndon Park. Three of those came in 1892, against Taranaki, Wellington and Otago. The fourth came four years later when the touring Queensland side visited. Cricket is no longer played at the park.
