Rijswijk
Rijswijk is a town and municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. It is a suburb of The Hague and covers an area of 14.48 km² (of which 0.43 km² is covered by water). The municipality of Rijswijk also includes the villages 't Haantje (Rijswijk) and Sion.
Biomedical Primate Research Centre
The Biomedical Primate Research Centre (BPRC) is Europe's largest primate research centre. It is a scientific research institute that performs research that contributes to the identification and development of new medicines against deadly diseases. It is located in Rijswijk, and employs about 110 people. The BPRC is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.
Menschen Vereeniging Wolbodo
The Mensenvereniging Wolbodo was founded in 1959 as the PSK (Parochiele Studenten Kring) by 17 students, who were catholic, but did not want to join the catholic student society) Virgiel. In 1960 the name was changed to Sanctus Wolbodo or in Dutch "Sint Wolbodo", referring both to the saint who supposedly is the patron saint of students and to its Catholic nature.
Sion, Netherlands
Sion is a hamlet in the Dutch municipality of Rijswijk. It is located on the border with Delft, and has a population of about 210. In 1345, the monastery Sancta Maria in Monte Sion was built in this area. It was demolished on the orders of the city of Delft in 1572, when Spanish troops approached the city, and was never rebuilt. In the 17th century, an estate was built on the grounds of the former monastery, and in the 19th century, it was divided into small parts and made into farms.
Prinsenhof
The Prinsenhof ("The Court of the Prince") in Delft in the Netherlands is an urban palace built in the Middle Ages as a monastery. Later it served as a residence for William the Silent. The building still exists and now houses the municipal museum. William was murdered in the Prinsenhof in 1584; the holes in the wall made by the bullets at the main stairs are still visible. Today, the building displays a collection of Dutch Golden Age paintings.
Oude Kerk (Delft)

Stedelijk Museum het Prinsenhof
Stedelijk Museum het Prinsenhof is a museum in Delft, in the province of South Holland (Zuid-Holland), the Netherlands. The museum building is a 15th century former monastery (St. Agathaklooster), that was used by Stadtholder William of Orange as his residence. It was also where William of Orange was murdered in 1584: bullet holes in the stone wall can still be seen today.

Forum Hadriani
Forum Hadriani, at the modern town of Voorburg, was the northern-most Roman city on the European continent and the second oldest city of The Netherlands. It was located in the Roman province Germania Inferior and is mentioned on the Tabula Peutingeriana, a Roman road map. The site Forum Hadriani formed the nucleus of the civitas of the Cananefates, who lived west of the Batavians. It was situated along the Fossa Corbulonis or Corbulo-canal.
The Hague University
The Hague University of Applied Sciences (Dutch: De Haagse Hogeschool) is a vocational university in The Hague, Netherlands. It was founded in 1987 as the merger of 14 educational institutions. Since, the university has increased the number of campuses, number of staff and students, and programmes offered. In 2010, there were approximately 21,300 students studying in the university in different types of programmes offered both in Dutch and English.
Hof van Delft
Hof van Delft ("Court of Delft") is a former municipality in the Dutch province of South Holland. It was located to the west of the city of Delft, and covered the villages of Den Hoorn, Abtswoude, and 't Woudt. The municipality existed from 1817 to 1921, when it became a part of Delft. Currently, the name "Hof van Delft" is used for a neighbourhood in the northwest of Delft, west of the railway track to The Hague.
Bacinol
Bacinol is originally a codename for penicillin, used during World War II by researchers in The Netherlands, used to keep investigation secret for the Germans. The research was done at the company Nederlandsche Gist- en Spiritusfabriek in Delft. Since 2001 the name was used for a defunct building (from 1951) near the company plant, which housed small companies in the creative arts sector.

Formule X is the new Maurer Söhne X-Car coaster for the Drievliet amusement park in The Hague, The Netherlands. It opened on April 6, 2007. Formule X was the first X-car coaster to have a LSM launch.

Het Strijkijzer (English: The clothing iron) is a residential and office skyscraper in The Hague, Netherlands. It is 132 metres with 42 floors and is the second tallest building in the city.

Huis ter Nieuwburg
Huis ter Nieuwburg or Huis ter Nieuburch ("House at New Borough") was a palace in Rijswijk, Holland, Dutch Republic. The symmetrical French Classicist building was probably designed by the French architect Jacques de la Vallée and was built between 1633 and 1636 for stadtholder Prince Frederick Henry. The palace with gardens was the country house of the Princes of Orange for years, and it was used for the peace negotiations resulting in the Treaty of Rijswijk in 1697.
De Broodfabriek
De Broodfabriek (English: The Bread Factory) is an exhibition and convention center in the Dutch city of Rijswijk. It was founded in 1996 by Henk van der Straaten (co-founder of the former Konmar supermarket chain) as the Darling Market, a recreation of the international market in Haymarket, near Sydney's Darling Harbour which he encountered during a trip to Australia).
Pension de Vogel homeless hostel fire

After an occupant set a fire 11 people died and 15 people were injured. Pension de Vogel was a hostel for homeless people and people with social problems, such as alcoholism, drugs addiction and psychiatric afflictions.

Owner and head chef of 't Ganzenest was Harry Visbeen. The restaurant was formerly located in The Hague, at the addresses Groenewegje 75-a and Groenewegje 115. It moved to Rijswijk in 1999. The restaurant closed in 2007, due to financial troubles and the threat of bankruptcy caused by a recession.

GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 14 out of 20 points in 2012, two points less than in 2011. Head chef of Niven is Niven Kunz. The restaurant is a member of Alliance Gastronomique Néerlandaise. Chef Niven Kunz was formerly part owner of the Michelin starred 't Raethuys in Wateringen.

Paul van Waarden is a restaurant in Noordeloos, Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star for the period 2002-2012. The loss of the Michelin star for 2013 was a real shock for the restaurant and they requested a discussion with Michelin. The restaurant closed down unexpectedly on 21 March 2013, to avoid formal bankruptcy. For 2013, GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 13 out of 20 points. Head chef of Paul van Waarden was Paul van Waarden.
