Rijswijk is a town and municipality in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. It is a suburb of The Hague and covers an area of 14.48 km² (of which 0.43 km² is covered by water). The municipality of Rijswijk also includes the villages 't Haantje (Rijswijk) and Sion.
Schipluiden
Schipluiden is a village in the western Netherlands, in the province of South Holland. It is the seat of the council of the municipality of Midden-Delfland. The village was founded relatively late in the 15th century and evolved around the Keenenburg castle, which no longer exists. The current Dutch Reformed church in the village centre belonged to the Catholic Teutonic Knights before 1572, when the Calvinists took over control of the church.
De Blauwe Aanslag
De Blauwe Aanslag was a squat in the Dutch city of The Hague. The property was a former tax office which was squatted in 1980. The name refers the blue papers which a person must fill in every year as a tax return. When the local council took over the ownership of the building, it was agreed to renovate it in three stages, with the squatters living there.
Biomedical Primate Research Centre
The Biomedical Primate Research Centre (BPRC) is Europe's largest primate research centre. It is a scientific research institute that performs research that contributes to the identification and development of new medicines against deadly diseases. Zuiderpark Stadion
Zuiderparkstadion was an 11,000-seat stadium in The Hague, in the Netherlands. It was the home of football club ADO Den Haag. For many years after the club's inauguration in 1905, they played football in many different temporary venues, eventually settling in the 'Zuiderpark' in 1925. The stadium was temporarily abandoned on 21 February 1945, near the end of World War II. The War left the club lacking funds with which to maintain the ground.
Sion, Netherlands
Sion is a hamlet in the Dutch municipality of Rijswijk. It is located on the border with Delft, and has a population of about 210. In 1345, the monastery Sancta Maria in Monte Sion was built in this area. It was demolished on the orders of the city of Delft in 1572, when Spanish troops approached the city, and was never rebuilt. In the 17th century, an estate was built on the grounds of the former monastery, and in the 19th century, it was divided into small parts and made into farms.

't Woudt
't Woudt is a small village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is located about 5 km southwest of the city of Delft, in the municipality of Midden-Delfland. 't Woudt (then spelled "'t Woud") was a separate municipality between 1812 and 1817, when it was divided into Groeneveld, Hoog en Woud Harnasch, and a part that merged with Hof van Delft.
Blaker, Netherlands
Blaker is a hamlet in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is located in the municipality of Westland, about 2 km northeast of the village of De Lier. The hamlet consists of a single road, stretching between the Leê canal and the Noord Lierweg road. The area in which the hamlet is located, the "Oude Lierpolder", used to be called "Blaker" as well.
Huis ter Nieuwburg
Huis ter Nieuwburg or Huis ter Nieuburch ("House at New Borough") was a palace in Rijswijk, Holland, Dutch Republic. The symmetrical French Classicist building was probably designed by the French architect Jacques de la Vallée and was built between 1633 and 1636 for stadtholder Prince Frederick Henry. The palace with gardens was the country house of the Princes of Orange for years, and it was used for the peace negotiations resulting in the Treaty of Rijswijk in 1697.

The Old City Hall in The Hague is a Renaissance style building on the Groenmarkt near the Grote Kerk. It is the former seat of the city's government, and still today the place where residents hold their civic wedding ceremonies, and where the Royal family register their family births. Less noble families do this at the current city hall located in the large white building on the Kalvermarkt, near the Public library.
Grote of Sint-Jacobskerk (The Hague)
Grote of Sint-Jacobskerk (Great, or St. James Church) is a landmark Protestant church in The Hague, Netherlands. The building is located on the Torenstraat, named for its high tower. Together with the Binnenhof, it is one of the oldest buildings in the Hague. Members of the House of Orange-Nassau have been baptised there. The latest are Willem-Alexander, Prince of Orange and his daughter Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands.

De Broodfabriek
De Broodfabriek (English: The Bread Factory) is an exhibition and convention center in the Dutch city of Rijswijk. It was founded in 1996 by Henk van der Straaten (co-founder of the former Konmar supermarket chain) as the Darling Market, a recreation of the international market in Haymarket, near Sydney's Darling Harbour which he encountered during a trip to Australia).
Queens Garden (restaurant)
Oueens Garden is the restaurant of Parkhotel Den Haag located in The Hague in the Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1960-1971. The restaurant lost its star in 1972, after the restaurant changed course. Nowadays restaurant "Garden Room" serves the hotel. In 1964, Henri Frisch, owner of 't Koetshuis in Rhenen, was director of the hotel and restaurant. The building is located beside Noordeinde Palace.
Adrianus Jacobus Zuyderland (Van Gogh series)
Adrianus Jacobus Zuyderland was Vincent van Gogh's favorite model during his Hague period. He appears in dozens of drawings, easily identified by his bald head and prominent white whiskers, and he was the model for van Gogh's iconic painting At Eternity's Gate.
Corona (restaurant)
Restaurant Les Saison, part of Hotel Corona, was a restaurant located in The Hague, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1988-1992. In the time of the Michelin stars, head chef was Robert Kranenborg. Hotel Corona is located in three 17th century buildings, within sight of the Dutch parlementary buildings. It reopened after an extensive renovation in January 2012. Restaurant Les Saison closed down in 1992.
Paul van Waarden (restaurant)
Paul van Waarden is a restaurant in Noordeloos, Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star for the period 2002-2012. The loss of the Michelin star for 2013 was a real shock for the restaurant and they requested a discussion with Michelin. The restaurant closed down unexpectedly on 21 March 2013, to avoid formal bankruptcy. For 2013, GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 13 out of 20 points. Head chef of Paul van Waarden was Paul van Waarden.
