Vondelpark
The Vondelpark is a public urban park of 47 hectares (120 acres) in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is located in the stadsdeel Amsterdam Oud-Zuid, west from the Leidseplein and the Museumplein. The park was opened in 1865 and originally named the "Nieuwe Park", but later renamed to "Vondelpark", after the 17th century author Joost van den Vondel. Yearly, the park has around 10 million visitors. In the park is an open air theatre, a playground and several horeca facilities.

The Oud-West district of Amsterdam roughly covers the area between the Overtoom, a major thoroughfare to the West of the centre, and the parallel De Clercqstraat, a shopping street. Leidseplein
The Leidseplein is a square in central Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Lying in the southwest of the Grachtengordel district of Amsterdam, the Leidseplein is immediately northeast of the Singelgracht canal. It is situated on the crossroads of the Weteringschans, the Marnixstraat, and the Leidsestraat. The Leidseplein is one of the busiest centres for nightlife in the city. Historically, the square was the end of the road from Leiden, and served as a parking lot for horse-drawn traffic.
Melkweg
The Melkweg is a popular music venue and cultural center in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is located on the Lijnbaansgracht, near the Leidseplein, a prime nightlife center of Amsterdam. It is housed in a former warehouse and is divided into a number of spaces of varying sizes. Besides a large hall for rock and pop music concerts, there are also spaces for dance/theater, cinema, photography and media-art. The Melkweg is run by a non-profit organisation that has existed since 1970.
OT301
OT301 used to be a squat in the Dutch city of Amsterdam, located on Overtoom 301. EHBK has now bought the building which is used as a multi-media alternative cultural centre. The building is an old film academy and was squatted in 1999 by a group of artists. It is used in a range of ways, including as a venue for music and films, a non-profit print shop, artists workspace and an 'organic cultural kitchen' (a vegan restaurant) called De Peper.

Hilton Amsterdam
The Hilton Amsterdam is a five star hotel in Apollobuurt, Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. It is located at Apollolaan 138 along the Noorder Amstelkanaal, a canal connected to the Amstel river. The hotel opened officially in 1962 and is a branch of the Hilton Hotels chain. It is famous for John Lennon and Yoko Ono's "Bed-In" for peace which was staged in 1969 to protest the Vietnam War and other conflict.
P.C. Hooftstraat
The P.C. Hooftstraat is a shopping street in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In 1876 it was named after Pieter Corneliszoon Hooft (1581–1647), a Dutch historian, poet and playwright. The street is located in the stadsdeel Amsterdam Oud-Zuid and runs from the Stadhouderskade to the Vondelpark. It is crossed by the Hobbemastraat and the Van Baerlestraat.

Blauwe Theehuis
The Blauwe Theehuis ("Blue Tea House") is a 1930s Modernist pavilion in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. It is a ring-shaped building, somewhat reminiscent of a flying saucer. Originally a tea house, it is now (2010) in use as a café and restaurant, surrounded by outside seating. The Blauwe Theehuis is also used for theatre performances, festivals, weddings, and other events. The building has rijksmonument (national monument) status.
Cornelis Schuyt
Cornelis Floriszoon Schuyt (1557 – 9 June 1616) was a Dutch organist and Renaissance composer. Cornelis Floriszoon Schuyt was born in Leiden in 1557. He was the son of Floris Corneliszoon Schuyt (1529/30–1601), the organist of two churches in Leiden, the Pieterskerk and the Hooglandse Kerk. Schuyt made a study journey to Italy, where he was introduced to Renaissance music. In 1593, Schuyt became an organist in the Pieterskerk and the Hooglandse Kerk, alongside his father.

The Monument Indië-Nederland is located near the Olympiaplein in the southern part of Amsterdam. The monument was originally a badge of honour, meant for General J. B. van Heutsz, who was the commandant of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army and is also known for bringing Atjeh under Dutch authority. Because of political pressure the name was changed to Monument Indië-Nederland.
De Graaf (restaurant)
Restaurant De Graaf was a restaurant located in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1990-1991. Owner and head chef was Harry de Graaf. The restaurant was closed down due to a subsiding kitchen. Renovation proved to be too costly, so closure was the only reasonable choice.
