Etten-Leur
Etten-Leur is a municipality in the southern Netherlands. Its name is a combination of the two towns from which the municipality originally arose: Etten and Leur. Nowadays both towns have merged into one.
Rijsbergen
Rijsbergen (population 6,100) is a town in the municipality of Zundert in the southern Netherlands. In the territory of the former municipality of Rijsbergen was one of the most important border crossings of the country: Hazeldonk. Hazeldonk was ceded in 1997 to Breda. In the town used to be an AC (Aanmeldcentrum, i.e. Asylum Request Center). Until 1997 Rijsbergen was an independent municipality, after which it was added to Zundert.
Hoeven
Hoeven is a village in the municipality of Halderberge in the Netherlands. The name Hoeven originated from the purchase of a certain amount of ground in 1282 by the abbey of Cistercienser of St. Bernard. This amount was equal to 100 "hoeven", a local measure of area in those days. A hoeve is approximately 12 bunder. A "bunder" equals the area of the average agricultural farm in the Netherlands.
Achtmaal
Achtmaal is a village in the municipality of Zundert in the province of North Brabant, the Netherlands. It is located on the border with Belgium. During World War II, the United States Army 104th Infantry Division, 415th regiment, liberated Achtmaal. Operation Pheasant (code-name "Suitcase") started on the morning of Friday 20 October 1944 just after 7:00am.
Sint Willebrord
Sint Willebrord is a town in the municipality of Rucphen in the Netherlands. It is also known by the name 't Heike which was the semi-official name up until 1950/1970 (mostly written as Theike, or less often Heike), which is the diminutive form of hei (heath) in local dialect. This town was formed on the former boundary between the "Baronie of Breda" and "Het Markizaat of Bergen op Zoom". Sint Willebrord is the largest and most prosperous of the five towns in the municipality of Rucphen.

The Battle of the Scheldt was a series of military operations by the Canadian 1st Army, led by Lieutenant-General Guy Simonds. The battle took place in northern Belgium and southwestern Netherlands during World War II from 2 October to 8 November 1944.

Rat Verlegh Stadion
The Rat Verlegh Stadion is a multi-purpose stadium in Breda, The Netherlands. The stadium is the home of the association football club NAC Breda (1996 to present). It was formerly known as FUJIFILM Stadium (1996–2003) and Mycom Stadium (2003–2006), named after two former NAC sponsors. In 2006 NAC Breda named the stadium after its most famous NAC Player, Antoon Verlegh. The stadium was built from 1995 to 1996 at a cost of € 13.2 million, and was officially opened on August 11, 1996.
Castelré
Castelré is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is a part of the municipality of Baarle-Nassau, and lies some 20 km south of Breda. The population of the Castelré statistical district – which includes the surrounding countryside and is officially characterized as an area of "scattered houses" – is around 140. In 2000 a millennium chapel was built at the "Kempische-driehoek" 't Groesje.
Prinsenbeek
Prinsenbeek is a village and a former municipality in the Dutch province North Brabant. The village is situated west of the motorway A16 and the TGV-line Amsterdam - Paris. Prinsenbeek is a part of the municipality Breda, and it has 11,419 inhabitants (2005). There is a train station on the line Rotterdam - Breda. When it is carnival, Prinsenbeek is called Boemeldonck (slowtrainswamp).

Katholieke Scholengemeenschap Etten-Leur is a Catholic high school in Etten-Leur in the Netherlands. It's in the center of Etten-Leur and has almost 2500 students. Most students come from Etten-Leur and a few come from Zundert and Rijsbergen. It is a very large school with a giant grass field for athletics.
NAC Stadion
NAC Stadion was a multi-use stadium in Breda, Netherlands. It was used mostly for football matches and hosted the home matches of NAC Breda. The stadium was able to hold 20,000 people and opened in 1940. The stadium's capacity was gradually reduced to 10,850 in the nineties, due to security reasons. The stadium was closed in 1996 when the Rat Verlegh Stadion opened.

It was created in 1942 from part of the municipality of Ginneken en Bavel, and existed until 1997 when its parts north of the A58 motorway merged with Breda, and the parts south of the motorway, containing the villages of Strijbeek, Galder and some outer parts of Ulvenhout merged with Alphen-Chaam.

Seppe Airport (Dutch: Vliegveld Seppe) is a small general aviation airfield located next to the A58 motorway on the outskirts of Bosschenhoofd, a village in the municipality of Halderberge in the province of North Brabant in the Netherlands. The airport takes its name from the village's nickname. It is located 2 NM southwest of Hoeven, 7.5 NM west from Breda and 4 NM east-northeast of Roosendaal.

Heikant is a hamlet in the municipality of Rucphen, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located about 2 km southeast of Sprundel.
Breda Castle
In the 12th century, a fortress was located at Breda. The city of Breda came into existence nearby the fortress. In 1350, the Duke of Brabant sold Breda to Jan II of Polanen (Baron of Breda). He reinforced the castle with four towers and a channel. His daughter Johanna of Polanen married in 1403 the German Duke Engelbert I of Nassau. Their son Jan IV of Nassau enlarged the castle. Henry III of Nassau-Breda changed the castle into a Renaissance palace in 1536.
NAC stadion Heuvelstraat
NAC Stadion Heuvelstraat is a football stadium in Breda, Netherlands. It is used for football matches, hosted the home matches of NAC Breda and is now homeground of RKSV Groen Wit. The stadium was able to hold 5,500 people and opened in 1931.
Grote kerk (Breda)
The Grote kerk or Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk (Church of Our Lady) is the most important monument of Breda. The church is built in the Brabantine Gothic style. The tower of the church is 97 meter tall. The plan is in the shape of a Latin Cross.
De Zwaan (restaurant)
Restaurant De Zwaan is a restaurant located in Etten-Leur, in the Netherlands. It is a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1994–present. Gault Millau awarded the restaurant 16 out of 20 points. Head chef of De Zwaan is Carlo Chantrel. Former head chefs include John Jansen (1991). De Zwaan is a member and one of the founders of Alliance Gastronomique Néerlandaise. The restaurant celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2007.
Mirabelle (Breda restaurant)
Mirabelle was a restaurant located in the Mirabella Estate in Breda, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1959-1967. After the star period, the posh fine dining restaurant downgraded to a run of the mill brasserie. In recent years the restaurant came into hot water. Mostly depending on business guest, it went bankrupt in April 2009. The restaurant was bought by Trudi Splinter and reopened in January 2010.
