's-Hertogenbosch
's-Hertogenbosch (literally "The Duke's Forest") is a city and municipality in the southern Netherlands. It is the capital of the province of North Brabant. 's-Hertogenbosch is located 80 km south of Amsterdam. In speech, the Dutch seldom use the formal s-Hertogenbosch but rather the colloquial Den Bosch' . Den Bosch means "The Forest".

Bouches-du-Rhin
Bouches-du-Rhin (Dutch: Monden van de Rijn) is the name of a département of the First French Empire in the present Netherlands. It is named after the mouth of the river Rhine. It was formed in 1810, when the Kingdom of Holland was annexed by France. Its territory corresponds with the eastern half of the present Dutch province North Brabant and a part of Gelderland. Vlijmen
Vlijmen is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Heusden, about 6 km west of 's-Hertogenbosch. Vlijmen was a separate municipality between 1821 and 1997. It was created from part of the former municipality Vlijmen en Engelen. After Haarsteeg and Nieuwkuijk were added to it in 1935, Vlijmen as municipality ceased to exist when it became part of Heusden in 1997.
De Vliert
De Vliert is a multi-use stadium in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Den Bosch. The original stadium was built in 1951, included an athletics track and had at its heyday a capacity of 30,000, making it one of the largest stadiums in the Netherlands. The old stadium was replaced in 1997 by the new stadium, which saw the field rotated 90° and is currently able to hold 9,000 people.
Hedel
Hedel is a town in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Maasdriel, and lies about 7 km northwest of 's-Hertogenbosch. Hedel was a separate municipality until 1999, when it was merged with Maasdriel. In World War II, there were a lot of fights in Hedel, especially during the month April 1945 when the armies of the Princess Irene Brigade came to liberate the town.
Helvoirt
Helvoirt is a village and part of the municipality of Haaren, North Brabant, Netherlands. Helvoirt was a separate municipality until 1996, when it became a part of Haaren. From 1871 to 1875 Theodorus van Gogh, father of the artist Vincent van Gogh, served as Reverend of the Dutch Reformed Church.
Siege of 's-Hertogenbosch
The Siege of 's-Hertogenbosch was in 1629 an action of the Eighty Years' War in which a Dutch Republican army captured the city of 's-Hertogenbosch which had been loyal to the King of Spain since 1579 and thus part of the Spanish Netherlands.
Dieze
The Dieze is a short river in North Brabant, the Netherlands, tributary of the Meuse. It is formed by the confluence of the rivers Aa and Dommel in 's-Hertogenbosch. The part of the Dieze in the centre of 's-Hertogenbosch is called "Binnendieze": a partly covered network of canals. The Dieze flows into the Meuse near Hedel.

Deuteren
Deuteren is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch, about 2 km west of the city centre. According to the 19th century historian A.J. van der Aa, this hamlet was the location of the first Reformed preaching in the area in 1566, by Cornelis van Diest. In the siege of 's-Hertogenbosch in 1629, Deuteren was the location of the headquarters of colonel Pinsen.

Heikant, Vught
Heikant is a former hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It was located about 1 km west of Vught. The hamlet is mentioned by the 19th century historian A.J. van der Aa. He mentions a windmill and three mansions: Eykenheuvel, Kraaijenstein, and De Braken. On March 18, 1837, a farm burnt down, killing 14 cattle and 3 horses. Heikant should not be confused with any of the other hamlets named Heikant in the Netherlands.

HAS University of Applied Sciences is an independent university of applied sciences which is specialised in the field of agriculture, horticulture, food, nature conservation and environment. The institute emphasizes a business-oriented and practical approach to education. It is located in 's-Hertogenbosch, the regional capital of North Brabant, and accredited by the Dutch Flemish Accreditation Organisation. In 2013 there are around 2400 students enrolled at HAS University of Applied Sciences.
Nieuw Vosseveld
Nieuw Vosseveld is a maximum security prison in the Dutch town of Vught, part of the Custodial Institutions Agency (Dienst Justitiële Inrichtingen, DJI) of the Dutch Ministry of Public Safety and Justice within the Dutch criminal justice system. Penitentiaire Inrichting Vught is now the general term used instead of Nieuw Vosseveld. The prison holds some of Europe's most dangerous criminals.

Chalet Royal was one of the founders of the Alliance Gastronomique Neerlandaise in 1967. Kees van Gaalen founded “Chalet Royal” in 1937 as a hotel-restaurant. He was already owner of restaurant "Royal" in the Visstraat, when he decided to branch out and buy the villa.
't Misverstant
Restaurant 't Misverstant is a restaurant located in Den Bosch, Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in the period 1984-1995. Gault Millau awarded the restaurant 14 out of 20 points. The star was gained under the leadership of head chef Alexander Koene He voluntarily gave up the Michelin star due to the immense pressure related to it. The present head chef is Thijs Vis.
