Mierlo
Mierlo is a town in the southern Netherlands, in the municipality of Geldrop-Mierlo, North Brabant. Until 2004, it was a separate municipality with an area of 18.09 km . Mierlo is home to a few interesting buildings, for example the old Council house and the Windmill in the centre of the village. Sports clubs in Mierlo are Mifano and the Hockey Club. Bakel, Netherlands
Bakel is a village east of Helmond and Eindhoven in southern part of the Netherlands. The total population is approximately 5,000. Until the late 1990s it formed together with Milheeze and De Rips the municipality of Bakel and Milheeze but in 1997 it was forced to merge with the larger Gemert municipality. Bakel does not have old buildings with the exception of the Willibrordus Church which is the oldest in the area. However during the 1970s, this church was modernized.
Gemert
Gemert is a town in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Gemert-Bakel. On January 1, 2009 there were 15.268 inhabitants in Gemert. Gemert was a separate municipality until 1997, when it merged with Bakel.
Aarle-Rixtel
Aarle-Rixtel is a town in the Dutch municipality of Laarbeek in North Brabant. It lies about 4 km north of Helmond. Since 1997 the castle Croy is part of Aarle-Rixtel. Until 1997, Aarle-Rixtel was a separate municipality.
Heusden, Asten
Heusden also known as Asten-Heusden is a small village in North Brabant in the Netherlands. It is in the region often known as De Peel. Heusden has a small village square with a few bars, a church, a grocery store, and a youth center. The village is only a couple kilometers from Asten which is much larger and the center of activity for most residents of Heusden. Heusden also has the romantic remains of an old castle that dates from the fifteenth century.
De Groote Peel National Park
De Groote Peel is a National Park in the Peel, a region in the Southeast of the Netherlands on the border between the provinces of Limburg and North Brabant. It has a size of 13,4 km² and preserves a peat-bog that has remained partly untouched by peat cutting, which used to be extensive in the area. It is one of the most bird-rich areas in Western Europe, with resident black-necked grebes and sometimes migrating common cranes in October/November.

Lierop
Lierop is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Someren, about 7 km south of Helmond. Lierop was a separate municipality until 1935, when it became part of Someren. Lierop is well known internationally amongst motocross enthusiasts as a venue for the world championship Motocross Grand Prix series. The circuit, situated approximately 1 km from the village, stages Grand Prix events in September under the organisation of the local MAC Lierop club.
Stiphout
Stiphout is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Helmond, about 2km west of the centre of that city. The town is mentioned for the first time in 1155 as 'Villa Stilpot' and in 2005 the village celebrated their 850th anniversary. It is famous for its "Bavaria Profronde" which occurs every year and attracts around 50.000 visitors. Stiphout was a separate municipality until 1968, when it became part of Helmond.
Vlierden
Vlierden is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Deurne, about 20 km east of Eindhoven. Vlierden was a separate municipality until 1926, when it merged with Deurne en Liessel to form the new municipality "Deurne".
Brandevoort
The district of Brandevoort lies south-west of the city centre of Helmond, between Helmond, Mierlo, Geldrop and Nuenen. This area has been designated by the government as a growth area. Building on this former farm land started around 1997 and will continue until completed or full build-out scheduled for 2017. In total around 18,000 people will find their home in Brandevoort in 6,000 houses and apartments.
Milheeze
Milheeze is a village in the Dutch province Noord-Brabant. Milheeze is part of the municipality Gemert-Bakel. In 2007 Milheeze counted 2,015 inhabitants.

Theater 't Speelhuis
Theater 't Speelhuis was a theatre in Helmond, the Netherlands. The theatre was designed by Piet Blom, who also designed the cube houses in Helmond and in Rotterdam. It was opened in October 1977 by then Crown Princess Beatrix. The theatre was completely destroyed by fire on 29 December 2011. The building was a municipal monument, not a Rijksmonument, as was wrongly reported by several media.
De Rips
De Rips is a village east of Helmond and Eindhoven in southern part of the Netherlands. Until the late 1990s it formed the municipality of Bakel and Milheeze alongside Milheeze and Bakel, but in 1997 it was forced to merge with the larger Gemert municipality. The area surrounding De Rips on the one hand has lots of nature (forest) but the agricultural economy is also dominated by bio industry. It has the highest pig density in the Netherlands.
