Kathmandu Valley
The Kathmandu Valley, located in Nepal, lies at the crossroads of ancient civilizations of Asia, and has at least 130 important monuments, including several places of pilgrimage for the Hindus and the Buddhists. There are seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites within this valley. Historically, only the Kathmandu Valley was referred to as "Nepal" by people who lived outside the valley.

Nagbahal

Around 5000 people live in the Nagbahal community, mainly from Newar ethnic groups. The history of the Nagbahal and the neighbouring Hiranya Varna Mahavihar (also popularly known as the Golden Temple) goes back to the 11th century.

It is one of the seventy-five districts of Nepal, covers an area of 395 km and is the most densely populated district of Nepal with a population of 1,081,845 in 2001 and 1,744,240 in 2011. The district's headquarters is Kathmandu City, also the capital of Nepal.
Lalitpur District, Nepal
Lalitpur District (Nepali: ललितपुर जिल्ला, a part of Bagmati Zone, is one of the seventy-five districts of Nepal, a landlocked country of South Asia. The district, with Patan as its district headquarters, covers an area of 385 km² and has a population of 337,785. It is one of the three districts in the Kathmandu Valley, along with Kathmandu and Bhaktapur. Its population was 466,784 in the initial 2011 census tabulation. Lalitpur District has many schools, colleges and hotels.
Dasarath Rangasala Stadium
Dasharath Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Tripureshwor, Kathmandu, Nepal. It is the Biggest stadium in Nepal. It is currently used mostly for football matches and cultural and entertainment programs. The stadium holds 25,000 spectators and seats 5,000 was built in 1956. Most of Nepal's national and international tournaments are held in this stadium. Martyr's Memorial League is also held in this ground every year. It is named after Dashrath Chand, one of the martyrs of Nepal.

The All Nepal National Free Students Union (Nepali: अखिल नेपाल राष्ट्रिय स्वतन्त्र विद्यार्थी युनियन, abbreviation अनेरास्ववियु) is a student based organisation in Nepal. The ANNFSU was founded in 1965. The original ANNFSU was later divided along ideological lines, and there are several organisations that emerged out of it. The main ANNFSU grouping today is politically tied to the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist).
International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development
The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) is a regional intergovernmental learning and knowledge sharing centre serving the eight regional member countries of the Hindu Kush Himalayas http://www. icimod. org/?q=1137. Singha Durbar
The Singha Durbar (literally, Lion Palace) in Kathmandu is the official seat of government of Nepal. Originally built by the Rana dynasty and it was known as the largest palace of Nepal. In 1904, claimed to be the biggest and most luxurious palace in Asia and until 1973 was the largest government secretariat in Asia.
Kantipur Television Network
Kantipur Television, popularly known as KTV, is a private television station based in Kathmandu, Nepal. Launched in July 2003, KTV is licensed for terrestrial and satellite transmission, and owned by Kantipur Publication. This publication house has a number of other notable publications such as The Kathmandu Post, and Kantipur Daily. Kantipur Publication's head office is located in Tinkune where two effigies stand.
New Road of Kathmandu
New Road is the financial hub and busiest high street of Nepal. It refers to a four lane street in the center of Kathmandu, as well as the surrounding neighborhood. It is one of the busiest marketplaces in the city. Being near the midpoint of the ring road in Kathmandu, as well as the old center of Kathmandu, it is one of the central locations in the city.

The Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (abbreviated as NEPSE) is the only Stock Exchange of Nepal. It is located in SinghaDurbar Plaza, Kathmandu Nepal. On November 19, 2011 the equity market capitalization of the companies listed on NESPE was approximately US$ 3674.64 million.
Dharahara
Dharahara, also called Bhimsen Tower, is a nine story (61.88m) tall tower at the center of Sundhara, Kathmandu. It is situated in the historical city of Kathmandu, and is a part of Architecture of Kathmandu recognized by UNESCO. It was built in 1832 by the Prime Minister of the time, Bhimsen Thapa of Nepal. Bhimsen Thapa built the tower under the orders of Queen Lalit Tripura Sundari. The tower has a spiral staircase containing 213 steps.
Ranipokhari
Ranipokhari (also known as Lani Pukhu or Rani Pokhari), is the artificial square-shaped pond with the temple of Shiva in the middle, known as Matrikeshwor Mahadev. Ranipokhari lies in the heart of Kathmandu, with 10–15 minutes walk from Kathmandu Durbar Square. The pond was constructed during the reign of King Pratap Malla in 1727 B.
Siddhipur
Siddhipur is a village development committee in Lalitpur District in the Bagmati Zone of central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5322 living in 980 individual households.

Tundikhel
Tundikhel is an open space in the centre of Kathmandu surrounded by the Sahid Gate, NAC, Bir Hospital and Ratna Park. It is under the custody of government where people can sit and play there. It is around half a square kilometer with a perimeter of about 2 kilometers. It is traditionally used for military parades and major national ceremonies.

Patan Durbar Square is situated at the centre of Lalitpur city. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One of its attraction is The Ancient Royal Palace where Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided.

The National Integrated College (NIC) is a private higher secondary institution in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Central Zoo
The Central Zoo is a 6-hectare zoo in Jawalakhel, Nepal. It is home to some 870 animals representing 109 species, and is operated by the National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC). Although it was originally a private zoo, it was opened to the public in 1956. During the Bhoto Jatra festival, celebrated near the zoo, the zoo may see upwards of 34,000 visitors in a single day after they come to see a historical jeweled vest at the culmination of the Rato Machchhindranath jatra.

Durbar Marg or Durbarmarg (Nepali: दरबारमार्ग; informally known as King's way) is a street in Nepali city of Kathmandu. It is considered as the heart of Kathmandu city. As it leads to the former Royal Palace of Narayanhiti, Durbar Marg is also known as King's way among foreigners. It is a famous tourist area after Thamel. Durbar Marg, is a posh area of Kathmandu with luxury hotels, restaurants serving international cuisines, pricey boutiques, travel agencies and airline offices.
Sita Air Flight 601
Sita Air Flight 601 was a Nepalese domestic flight, due to be operated with a Dornier 228, that crashed on 28 September 2012, three minutes after it departed Tribhuvan International Airport, killing all 19 people on board.
National Law College, Nepal
National Law College (NaLC) is one of the undergraduate and graduate law school of Tribhuvan University in Lalitpur, Nepal. The school offers a five year B.A. LL. B program at undergraduate level and a two year LL. M course at graduate level. Founded in 2012, the college will enroll 70 students in undergraduate level and 50 students in the graduate level.
