Lüderitz Constituency
Lüderitz is a constituency in the Karas Region of Namibia. In 2004, It had a population of 13,276. It contains the major city of Lüderitz, after which the constituency is named.
Angra Pequena
Angra Pequena (Portuguese for "small cove") was a small coastal area in what is now known as Lüderitz, Namibia. First discovered by Europeans in 1487 by the Portuguese explorer Bartolomeu Dias. On April 10, 1883 Heinrich Vogelsang (emissary of Adolf Lüderitz of Bremen) first landed at Angra Pequena. Vogelsang signed a fraudulent lease of land from Joseph Fredericks, Kaptein of the Bethanie community.
Shark Island, Namibia
Shark Island (German Haifischinsel) is a small peninsula adjacent to the coastal city of Lüderitz in Namibia. Its area is about 40 hectares. Formerly an island, it became a peninsula from 1906 on by the creation of a wide land connection that doubled its former size. Now a campsite for tourists, from 1904 to 1907 it was the site of a concentration camp, created for members of the Herero and Nama tribes in German South West Africa.

Lüderitz Railway Station
Lüderitz Railway Station is a railway station serving the town of Lüderitz in Namibia. It was erected in 1904. It is part of the TransNamib Railway, and is the terminal of the currently decommissioned line to Aus which was completed in 1906. The extension to Seeheim was completed in 1908, and the connection to Windhoek and the central-eastern railway network in 1912.
