Rîbnița
Rîbnița is a city in Moldova. The city is under the administration of the breakaway government of the Transnistria. According to the 2004 Census in Transnistria, it has a population of 53,648. Rîbniţa is situated in the northern half of Transnistria, on the left bank of the Dniester, and separated from the river by a concrete dam. The city is the seat of the Rîbnița sub-district.

The district contains this city and 22 communes : Rîbniţa is located along the river Dniester, in the northern half of Transnsitria.
Cobasna
Cobasna is a commune consisting of three villages - Cobasna, Suhaia Rîbniţa (Сухая Рыбница), and Cobasna station - situated in northern Transnistria, Moldova. It is controlled by the authorities of Transnistria. It is located 2 km from the Ukrainian border, in the Rîbniţa District. Cobasna is the site of a Russian, and formerly Soviet ammunition depot, one of the largest of the kind in Europe.

Popencu is a commune in the north of Transnistria, Moldova. It consists of four villages: Popencu, Chirov (Кірове, Кирово), Vladimirovca (Володимирівка, Владимировка), and Zăzuleni (Зозуляни, Зозуляны), and is part of the Rîbniţa sub-district, Transnistria. Ofatinţi, is a commune consisting of two villages - Ofatinţi and Novaia Jizni (Ukrainian: Нове Життя, Nove Zhyttia; Russian: Новая Жизнь, Novaya Zhyzn')- in Transnistria, Moldova. It is located 15 km south of Râbniţa. Historically, a small trading port on the Dniester river, during the 19th century, it was part of the Podolsk district of the Russian Empire. The famous Russian composer Anton Rubinstein was born in Ofatinţi.

Vărăncău, Transnistria
Vărăncău is a commune in Transnistria, Moldova, consisting of three villages: Vărăncău, Buschi (Буськи), and Gherşunovca (Гершунівка). It is located 15 km SE of Râbniţa. The village Vărăncău is the site of the Church of the Blessed Virgin's Assumption, a Christian Orthodox church, construction of which was completed in 1800. Since then, the church has been open and functioning, standing much as it did when it first opened its doors.
Orăşenesc Stadium
Orăşenesc Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Rîbniţa, Moldova. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home for FC Iskra-Stali Rîbniţa of the Moldovan National Division. The stadium has a capacity of 4,500 spectators.
