Nogales Municipality, Veracruz
Nogales is a municipality in the mountainous western region of the Mexican state of Veracruz. The municipal seat is the city of Nogales. It is situated at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:18|49|N|97|10|W||| | |name= }}, at an altitude of 1280 m, and covers a total surface area of 77.32 km². In the year 2005 INEGI Census, the municipality reported a total population of 31,818. Of the municipality's inhabitants, 1,286 (4.67%) spoke an indigenous language, primarily Nahuatl.
Córdoba, Veracruz
Córdoba, officially known as Heroica Córdoba, is a city and the seat of the municipality of the same name in the Mexican state of Veracruz. It was founded in 1618. The city is composed of 15 barrios, bounded to the north by Ixhuatlán del Café and Tomatlán, and to the south by Amatlán de los Reyes and Naranjal. The eastern area abuts Fortin de las Flores and Chocamán and the western area borders Amatlán de los Reyes.

Rafael Delgado
Rafael Delgado is a municipality located in the montane central zone of the State of Veracruz, about 140 km from state capital Xalapa. It has a surface of 39.48 km2. In 1831 the village of San Juan of the Rio constituted a municipality. Into Decree of November 5, 1932 the municipality of San Juan of the Rio and the head-board they change its name to that of Rafael Delgado, in honor of the notable writer native of Cordoba.

Battle of Barranca Seca
The Battle of Barranca Seca was a battle of the French intervention in Mexico and took place right after the Battle of Puebla on 18 May 1862. Contrary to the latter it was won by the unified reactionist Mexican-French forces.. The battle was preceded by a coup de chef of the reactionist forces, which was heated by the intrigue of the Spanish high command against Almonte and Márquez and French pressure towards the replacement of Zuloaga.
