La Marquesa National Park
La Marquesa is the common name for the Parque Nacional Insurgente Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, situated west of Mexico City on the toll road heading towards Toluca, the capital of the State of Mexico. It lies in the municipalities of Ocoyoacac, Huixquilucan, and Lerma de Villada in the State of Mexico, and also in the adjacent Cuajimalpa borough of the Distrito Federal. The settlement of La Marquesa itself is part of the ejido of the indigenous Otomí community San Jerónimo Acazulco.
San Jerónimo Acazulco
San Jerónimo Acazulco is a town and community in the municipality of Ocoyoacac, Mexico State, Mexico. Once an agricultural community, the inhabitants are mostly dedicated to commerce in their ejido, La Marquesa. It is an indigenous community and most of the elderly still speak the local variant of the Otomi language. According to 2010 census there are 4,827 inhabitants.
