Chamizal dispute
The Chamizal dispute was a border conflict over about 600 acres on the U.S. -Mexico border between El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. It was caused by a shift in the Rio Grande, as a survey presented in 1852 marked differences between the bed of the Rio Grande (in Spanish: Río Bravo del Norte) and the present channel of the river.

O. T. Bassett Tower
The O. T. Bassett Tower is an Art Deco skyscraper located at 303 Texas Avenue in Downtown El Paso, Texas. It was built by Charles N. Bassett, who named it in honor of his father. The tower was designed by Trost & Trost and completed in 1930, making it one of Henry Trost's last commissions. It was briefly the tallest building in the city but was surpassed later the same year by the Hilton Hotel.
Anson Mills Building
The Anson Mills Building is an historic building located at 303 North Oregon Street in El Paso, Texas. The Building stands on the original site of the 1832 Ponce de León ranch. Anson Mills hired Henry C. Trost of the Trost & Trost architectural firm to design and construct the building. Trost was the area's foremost pioneer in the use of reinforced concrete.
Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez
Estadio Olimpico Benito Juarez is a multi-purpose stadium in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. It is currently used mostly for football matches, concerts and is the home stadium of CF Indios a national football league contender. Chavez Theatre

Battle of Ciudad Juárez (1919)
The Third Battle of Ciudad Juarez, or simply the Battle of Juarez, was the final major battle involving the rebels of Francisco "Pancho" Villa. It began on June 15, 1919 when Villa attempted to capture the border city of Ciudad Juarez from the Mexican Army. During the engagement, the Villistas provoked an intervention by the United States Army forces protecting the neighboring city of El Paso, Texas.
El Paso BOTA Port of Entry
The El Paso BOTA Port of Entry, located at the Bridge Of The Americas (BOTA) is El Paso's highest volume border crossing, carrying more than half the vehicles (trucks and passenger cars) entering El Paso, Texas from Mexico. This is due in large part to the fact that BOTA is the only bridge on between Mexico and Texas that does not charge a toll. It is a "Class A" service port with a full range of cargo processing functions, and it is open for passenger vehicle traffic 24/7.

Upon arrival, the admissibility of each person is determined by an agent of Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Frequently the vehicle and/or possessions of those entering the US are inspected by CBP in an effort to prevent contraband from being brought into the US.
