Plaines Wilhems District
Plaines Wilhems is a district of Mauritius. It is the most populated district, the population estimate was at 385,034 as at 31 December 2010. The district is mainly urban, it consist of four towns, the village of Midlands and part of two other villages. The Plaines Wilhems district does not have a District Council, it has four Municipal Town Council. The towns are Beau-Bassin Rose-Hill, Curepipe, Quatre Bornes and Vacoas-Phoenix.

Ébène
Ebene City is a city on the island nation of Mauritius, 15 km (nine miles) south of the capital, Port Louis. Corps de Garde is a 720 metre-high mountain of volcanic origin, in the area of the Moka Range between the Mont du Rempart (545 m) and the Le Pouce Mountain (812 m) in the Plaines Wilhems district of Mauritius. The name derived from the fact that a French military post was once established on its slope to control the bands of runaway slaves. This basaltic rock has an imposing appearance which is characterized by an abruptly breakup of the slope towards the sea.

Dr Regis Chaperon State Secondary School (commonly known as DRC) is an all-boys' state owned and Star school in Belle Rose, Mauritius. State House (Mauritius)
The State House or The Château of Réduit is the official Residence of the President of Mauritius. Originally Le Réduit, it was built as a fortress for defense against attack by Pierre Félix Barthelemy David in 1749. The mansion is in Réduit, Moka, near of the University of Mauritius and the end of the Plaines Wilhems District. It used to serve as the residence for former governors of Mauritius, but now it is the residence of the President. It's built on 240 acres .

Sir Abdool Raman Osman State College
Sir Abdool Raman Osman State College is secondary school in Phoenix, Mauritius. It was founded in 1996 and was later renamed after Sir Abdool Raman Osman, the first Governor General of Mauritius in late 1996. The school became a National College in 2007.
