Chong Hwa Independent High School, Kuala Lumpur
Chong Hwa Independent High School, Kuala Lumpur (吉隆坡中华独立中学) is one of Malaysia's oldest high schools. Established in 1919 at Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, the school was a primary school. It became a high school when the school board purchased a piece of land of 24,000 square metres along Jalan Ipoh and decided to move the school there. It has remained there ever since. After Malaysian independence, all schools in the country were asked to assimilate into the national school system.

Faizal Yusof
Faizal Yusof (1978 – 1 January 2011) was a Malaysian actor. He appeared in numerous popular Malay television series, including Jersi 9, Adamaya, Tiramisu and Manjalara. Faizal died on 1 January 2011. He is survived by his second wife Rosmunira Rashid who was five months pregnant at the time of his death. He was previously married to singer Siti Nordiana with whom he had a son, Mohd Rayyan Nakhaie.

The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (informally, KLPac) or Pentas Seni Kuala Lumpur in Sentul West is one of the most established centres for the performing arts in Malaysia. It is a non-profit company whose aim is to "cultivate and sustain the performing arts for the betterment and enrichment of communities within the Klang Valley and for the Nation.
