Chong Hwa Independent High School, Kuala Lumpur (吉隆坡中华独立中学) is one of Malaysia's oldest high schools. Established in 1919 at Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, the school was a primary school. It became a high school when the school board purchased a piece of land of 24,000 square metres along Jalan Ipoh and decided to move the school there. It has remained there ever since. After Malaysian independence, all schools in the country were asked to assimilate into the national school system.

Sentul Timur LRT station or Sentul Timur is the terminal and above ground station for the two sub-lines of the Ampang Line. Sentul Timur was opened in late 1998 as part of phase 2 of the Star project. Before then, trains only ran up to Sultan Ismail LRT station.

The station forms part of Sentul-Port Klang KTM Komuter train services, and is the northern terminus of the service. The station is located at the end of Jalan Perhentian, off Jalan Ipoh.
Kepong Sentral Komuter station
The Kepong Sentral KTM Komuter station is a KTM Komuter train station located in Kepong, in the northwestern area of Kuala Lumpur. The station is the newest addition to the KTM Komuter system, opened on July 1, 2006. Situated just beside this station is the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2). Starting from 1 December 2008, it became one of the stations of the Sentral KL-Ipoh-Sentral KL intercity route. However, it was ceased in August 2010 and replaced by ETS services to Ipoh.

The Kepong Komuter station (formerly Kepong railway station) is a Malaysian commuter train station located in the northern area of Kuala Lumpur along the Rawang-Seremban Route. As there are no other train systems that operate here other than KTM Komuter, this station can be packed at certain times. The Kepong Komuter station was built to cater increasing traffic in a suburban area with the similar name called Kepong.
Rawang railway station
The Rawang railway station is a railway station in Rawang, Selangor, Malaysia that serves as both the KTM Komuter and KTM Intercity train services. It is the northern most terminus for passenger services on this Rawang-Seremban Route, and was built to cater the traffic around the suburb of Rawang as there were no other commuter or mass transit services in the Klang Valley that stopped here before the arrival of the KTM Komuter.

1990 Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway Crash
The 1990 Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway Crash took place on 28 February 1990. 17 people were killed when the passenger bus collided with a tanker lorry, FRU riot police vehicles and 10 cars at kilometre 31 of the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway not far from Genting Sempah Tunnel in Gombak, Selangor. 11 FRU riot police personal were killed too. Many vehicles to and from Kuala Lumpur were trapped in a massive jams for five hours.

Faizal Yusof
Faizal Yusof (1978 – 1 January 2011) was a Malaysian actor. He appeared in numerous popular Malay television series, including Jersi 9, Adamaya, Tiramisu and Manjalara. Faizal died on 1 January 2011. He is survived by his second wife Rosmunira Rashid who was five months pregnant at the time of his death. He was previously married to singer Siti Nordiana with whom he had a son, Mohd Rayyan Nakhaie.
